hi,

we are both leading the tourney so I really dont want to play a large pot with a wet board. I am correct not to raise here due to this circumstances?

PokerStars - 500/1000 Ante 125 NL - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

CO: 68,111 (68.1 bb)
BTN: 53,966 (54 bb)
SB: 77,215 (77.2 bb)
Hero (BB): 59,013 (59 bb)
UTG: 6,096 (6.1 bb)

5 players post ante of 125, SB posts 500, Hero posts BB 1,000

Pre Flop: (pot: 2,125) Hero has J 7
3 folds, SB calls 500, Hero checks

Flop: (2,625, 2 players) 9 J 7
SB bets 2,000, Hero calls 2,000

Turn: (6,625, 2 players) 6
SB bets 3,000, Hero calls 3,000

River: (12,625, 2 players) Q
SB bets 6,313, Hero folds

Spoiler

Results: 12,625 pot (0 rake)
Final Board: 9 J 7 6 Q

SB wins 12,625

Seems fine to call villain down to control the pot in position. River is a bad card for you, but tough to fold 2 pair here.

Cheers,

I'm quite a calling station in these spots, so for me is a call on the river, even if I'm not too happy about it! :)

I would definitely call on the river to.
Just his semibluffs (KT or flushdraw) improved on this river. But it's a tough spot because you don't really beat value hands here.
You would think that the Q would slow every Jx hand down.
