BU is high vpip open limping lot but I thought he probably open raises enough for me to 3bet. Likely no fe with 3bet. BB is bit more solid but does sometimes make cold calls with questionable hands.

On flop I thought its ok one for my range and I have decent blockers but if I check and face bet its not greatest hand as x-c. SPR 3 I think potting would be probably best but we are SPR 8.5 with BB so I think check or half pot are reasonable.

Went with half pot and plan to stack off versus BU. Fine line?

is the 3bet pre GTO? I think i have read you have access to a solver atm.

A hint from me to solid players who do questionable coldcalls: I remember those often coldcalling hands that can be coldcalled in low rake enviroments like double suited double paired etc. I guess they made content for highstakes and didnt ever realise, you can have an eye on that.

totally clueless abput postflop, it has been a while

Yeah its reasonable. With no fe perhaps better to call or even fold? Well anyway in plotrainer:

For sure, I have an exploitative sim for this spot.

FWIW: BU_rfi50%_doesn't fold vs 3bet_SB holds AKQ8. AKQ8$ds is a three bet. Single suited (no trip suits) to the A8 or AQ a call, single suited to the AK a mixed fold/call strategy. All other AKQ8 combos fold.

I'd check the flop, maybe even x-r if HU with BU.

I dont understand: I thought this hand is like dominating all the trash BU is r/calling preflop so 3bet is 4value!?

Of course issue is that even though BU is coming to postflop with wide range he is playing perfectly with that range in simulation I suppose. But yeah disconnectivity with 8 does weaken AKQ8 quite a bit.
