Hey folks,

I'm relatively new at poker and want to start with MTT's because I really like the tournament mode (not interested in CG). Unfortunately, I have noticed that I am not able to play MTTs with a deposit of 50$ and a conservative BRM (150-200 BI) at all (at least on the big pokersites). Is there a reason for that or are there other pokersites out there, where this is possible? There was a time (at around 2014), where I played a little bit of poker at university. And I'm pretty sure that there were a lot of MTT's with a BI < 1$.

Thank you in advance!

Hi godflake,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com :welcome:

888 has a multitude of freerolls that you can use to build a bankroll.
Possible? Check out https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?postid=2878437#post2878437

A lot of those freerolls require that you are a depositor at 888, so I suggest giving them a try.

If you don't have an account there already, go to https://www.pokerstrategy.com/partners/
Scroll down until you find 888 then follow the instructions to sign up using the PokerStrategy.com promo code.
If you don't see 888 in the list check out bonus offers or perhaps one of the free money offers to see if any of those fit your needs.

All the best,
VS

grinding mtts on that bankroll is tricky... lack of games to get good volume in
id highly recommend sngs to grow bankroll while you play a few mtts
if you're winning at sngs you can easily add $1 mtts to grind... occasional $2 if you're feeling risqué

would you recommend Poker Snowie tool also?

or is it just ICMIZER3 for analyzing the sngs?

I used to like the 45-man SNGs on PokerStars
