As I keep losing my bankroll I decided to look more closely at data.
So from the start of this month, my Net won is -$73.66 and my EV Net won is -$41.44
So as I can see I play bad (partly because my mindset is affected by the money loss, it's also an area I keep working on improving)
but some of the coolers are hidden there, though.
I create an Excel spreadsheet influenced by Matt Staple's one.
I put there my losing hands and color-code them (red - my mistake, green - not my mistake) and add what mistake I made.
And to be sure I consider coolers the real coolers, are hands like these really coolers?

Well KK Vs AA is cooler 100bb deep there. 4bet size should theory wise likely be smaller so that we can have some 4bet-fold range. Perhaps like 1.2$ would be ok?
Second one I would approach flop as shove or fold as villain sizing is so enormous. Probably we want to shove as villain range consist possibly from quite a few semibluffs and could have some top pairs. Mainly we are beat by 99, 44 and perhaps Q9s. QQ probably 3betting in 6handed?
As played we need bit over 30% equity to call turn. Villain shove range is very hard to have weaker combos if he is somewhat reasonable. Versus Q9 we would have marginally +ev call but versus sets or flushes we are too much behind. So versus his range we are in too bad shape. Unless we assume him to have some AQ or KQ type stuff.
Also this is just my opinion but I wonder if it would be better to play normal tables than zoom?

Thank you for your analysis.
Well, I played only normal tables till November. Then I tried to add one zoom table to 4 normal ones and I had more profit on the zoom table. So since then, I mix it.
I find that zoom requires tighter ranges, and more aggression — do you agree?
However regular tables gives you the opportunity to learn the specific opponents.
I like the idea of mixing them — but I would do 3 and 1
I'll do that later today when I do my leaderboard run

I agree with tighter ranges but I'm not sure about aggression, though. Players there, are quite aggressive themselves. I can say I play tighter there but not more aggressive. I'm not capable, yet.
I mix it in 3:1 - 3reg and 1 zoom or 2 zooms
So, I think I can finally say I have a calm mind again, I reset my mindset and I'm ok that my BR is currently $118. I grinded it up last time, I will grind it up again
So as I'm still trying to figure out why I started losing, it seems the breaking point was when I added the zoom table to my session.
In the beginning, all was good and I even had a higher profit there compared to regular tables. But according to the December summary, I play bad plus below EV there.

It's crazy how like in only 11 days I lost almost half of my BR.
So as a conclusion:
I have to take a slow pace again and be patient.
More hands don't mean a better game.

No worries, it's a big ocean for both of us.
This is tough! I once had an ~18 BI downswing when I was playing NL5.
Hang in there, you are going to get out of it eventually.

It's necessary to be disciplined in poker so as my BR is $92 I go back to grind at NL2.
This was quite an unsual week. At the beginning, Pokerstars was down for the Czech market for almost 3 days.
Meanwhile, a fellow pokerstrategy member Mozzek offered me a free coaching. He showed me some of my major leaks and we went through my hands.
We discussed the opening sizings. He suggested opening for 2.2 from EP, 2.5 from BTN, and 3bb from SB.
This is quite a big difference from my standard 3bb open from EP. Even monteCarlol suggested this open sizing from EP before in his blog.
I keep thinking about it. I tried it and I felt like it didn't work for me well. Even opening 2.2 from EP with AA doesn't make a sense to me.
So I decided to mix it. For example, I open 3bb with premium hands and strong pairs, and 2.2 with a mediocre hand like T9s.
That makes more sense to me and fits my playing style.
In general, it wasn't too much information from the coaching but it messed with my head. I didn't apply new knowledge well, so my bankroll went quickly down and I had to go back to NL2. I grinded it up there a little bit but it was annoying for me. I thought I wouldn't have to go back to NL2.
And as I was not happy playing NL2 I made a mistake and decided to open one NL10 zoom table.
I think I play quite well. Yes, except for my stupid spews I shared before. I should play profitably even on NL10.
Anyway, playing on NL10 is against my bankroll management and I shouldn't do it.
I don't even have to play bad but just a variance can ruin my whole bankroll in a few minutes.
I was lucky, though. I won 150bb there and ran away.
Although my bankroll is even lower than it was last week, I feel like being on the right path up now.
Mozzek, if I wrote anything you don't agree with, please, let me know.
Let's see what a new week brings to us
