This is almost embarrassing, since I probably should have folded pre

But UTG is playing almost 60% of hands, CO is also calling a lot, and I have position

As you can see by UTG's flop play, aggression is a favoured tactic.
I float it since UTG has an extreme range, and I have a decent piece of this flop, and position

PokerStars - $1 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BTN): $113.05
SB: $89.01
BB: $117.19
UTG: $91.80
MP: $100.72
CO: $67.91

SB posts SB $0.50, BB posts BB $1.00

Pre Flop: (pot: $1.50) Hero has 8♥:5♣:

UTG raises to $2.00, fold, CO calls $2.00, Hero calls $2.00, fold, fold

Flop: ($7.50, 3 players) 8♣:4♠:T♦:
UTG bets $7.12, fold, Hero calls $7.12

Turn: ($21.74, 2 players) 9♠:
UTG checks, Hero checks

River: ($21.74, 2 players) 5♥:
UTG checks, Hero ??? Should I bet this river?

Easy fold pre-flop indeed. As played I would go for a value bet on the river with 2 pair.

If fish is playing 60% of hands that doesnt mean you need to defend 100%.
Anyways, if you call this expecting any two in villains range, then why not bet on such safe runout after check, check action?

Clear bet on river with two pair. There is no one card straight available if I can see correct. But yeah fold preflop.
