Was it a miss-click fold?

What did you think your opponent has?

Hi mjez1,
Nope, no missclick, it looks like lottery to me, it's obvious villain is a fish by that sizing, so AK is possibility aswell, but he can have few A9 which i'm drawing dead.
I don't wanna call here big bet to fold most turn cards later so I just folded right away.

I would be happy to have this hand and try to get my whole stack in the pot. It’ s very unlikely your beaten and if so, it´s just a bad beat.
Only my opinion.

Looking forward to opiniins of more experienced players.

I was happy too, but then realized it's not that great spot.
Cons: single raised pot, multiway, no kicker, sizing tell, no info on villain, we have uncapped range and better hands than 89 here
Pros: we block his value range, he might raise w Ax or flushdraw, I maybe sometimes have few outs if I'm worse
So I guess it's 6:3 so I'm okay w fold.
In theory it's sure no fold, but poker is playing with humans and it might be +ev to just exploitative fold here due to human players tendencies.

I agree — it is a tricky spot, but what specific hands do you see that opponent would have here?
Better 9 maybe?

Hi VorpalF2F,
yep, I guess if i should make a reasonable range what probably fish can have here, then it's 9x (better and worse), AA, A9, flush draws and AQ+

Betting OOP from BB doesn't make sense. I could be betting into better hands. UTG is passive or misreads his hand.
I think you played well.

Wow, that was a good and a bad beat at the same time.
Funnily, it was the reverse for the guy with quads - a bad and a good beat!

I think I could lead bet 1/3 pot on river to possibly get some action from utg.
Also, share of bad beat jackpot would be nice here.

Yup VorpalF2F, not a boring situation. :f_biggrin:
I get w bankroll over 100$, 12 buyins are missing to NL5.
I don't know if i should start at reg tables or go straight zoom.
But maybe I'm too ahead of decision.
