I got hand2note — nice piece of software.
A lot to get used to though — for example I haven't found out how to create a graph for more than a single session.

I also found another time it may be wise to cash out — when you're 500BB deep.
I was all in with top set of kings v AA and didn't cash out — opponent hit an Ace on the turn, and we're done.
But following your advice I agree that for 100 BB effective and less, not cashing out heads-up is the best option

Thats not exactly True. The bigger pot is the bigger fee You have to Pay. I can see why 20A-30A pots can be used for cash out in order to keep stack small, and keep generating rake. But when you're 500 A deep, and you get all in with let's say 72% equity, You will pay 1% of 720 A which is quite a lot. I suggest just sweat those spots, not much You can do if fortune is not with You. If it hurts too much, probably playing too high limits.

Go to reports. Give in over what time frame you want the report. It will give you the report by stakes and by size (HU and 3 or more will be separated). Than click the stake or anything on the line to get the grapf.

This could kill the game indeed but on stars I haven't seen it...

Well if tabel is all deep (300a+) i will cash out. but usually we should'nt be playing deeper than 200a because any 100a semi good player can shove farely wide because the first deep player can't call when another one is also 200a+ deep.

Can you elaborate on that a bit?
I've been playing 500A deep and finding that it seems to work.
I'm also being quite a bit tighter than most — VPIP around 30-35. Is that more-or-less standard? I see people in the 50-60 range a lot, and some much higher.

Numbers regs should be VPIP/PFR 40-45/8-12

So when you are 200a deep you can't get it in PF with anything but aces. But you are also not deep enough to 3b/fold or make a move or do anything. So if you are 200a and isoraise a limper and another player 200a + deep calls the limper or a player who still has to act can shove like everything because the isoraiser can only call w aces and the 2nd deep player can't have aces or he should've raised. So you're bleeding chips. When you get 300a+ you get some playability but really nobody's trilled about 55-45 300a+. I do agree sometimes you get whales who just shove everything and keep reloading so than you can't leave...

200 seems about the worst stack size — so many 3Bet shoving that it is pointless to raise, and if you just limp, or check behind with 4 players in, your equity is horrid.

Deeper, your non-allin raises have fold equity — or seem to.

So afther getting my ass kicked at 10NL twice it was time to evaluate

 Obv study more, before playing
 I also have the feeling the money at 10Nl is to significant for my small roll so will remain at NL5 till I have 1000$ profit before i move to NL10. Move back down at $750

Graph @ NL10

Graph @ NL5

Also about running 60BI above EV, it should not worry me because it's a high variance game and I am developping my game. Just you know I do worry about it :f_frown:

Also read in an article here that someone made his goal by playing 300k hand and had big winraite. So for my mental state it's good that that those numbers are spread because I have a lot the feeling i'm staying in the same place and not move up fast enough (hence the 1000$ in between goal)

Update for my in between target, completed 40%

Special thx to the sunday session

Also i'm still working on getting a good schedule to combine poker with family, work and gym. Last week I got up 1,5 hour earlier and it has had a pasitive effect on me. Getting up, all quiet, making coffee, playing an hour and then the morning routine. This week I will pick up the work out and do 3 sessions in the gym. Work is set from 9 to 5 monday till wednesday, thursday 9 to 7 and friday 9 to 12.

I like the idea of scheduling — it takes one of the decisions out of the equation. "Should I play poker or do household tasks" for example will already be decided.

I've been getting up a couple of hours before everyone else for a long time. I love the quiet in the house at that time of day.
In the summer, the sun is up, and I can sit on the deck and eat breakfast with the birds.

Update challenge part 1: to $1000 on NL 5

So the schedule is taking form. This i something that has to grow a little bit trial and error. With 2 young kids it's not always easy to get structure :).

Today I watched this vid here on PS. Psychology is timeless sometimes.

Hi Fredjen,
Nice graph!

As the only dedicated 6+ player here, I'd really appreciate your opinion on this hand https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?postid=3313539#post3313539

Update challenge part 1: to $1000 on NL 5

The schedule is finished:

This is something that fits for me, my work and my family. Now al I have to do is keep up with it. Specially the Gym and the study time will take effort.

This week was BE, really frustrating but at the same time the frustrations do not take my game away (or less than it used to). The 10Bi swings I am used to but when it's getting to 15 or more i'm glad it's still NL5...

For the studying I have found another rec who's willing to swap vids and review eachothers play. This is really intensive but very interesting because they see spots you would never even post. Or other tings like timing tells or how you take your notes.

So seeing I have no idea if anyone is even reading this this will be the post for this week. If there is some interest in hands or other thing please let me know. I will try to keep this interesting for everyone!

You are certainly getting better results than I am.
Yeah, yeah, I know we're not supposed to be results-oriented, and seeing that your yellow line is well below the green one I'm encouraged.

I still haven't figured out how to get Hand2Note to display a range of dates — when I look at the sessions page I can get graphs of individual sessions but not a range.
I'll play with it some more later.

Do you have one of the paid levels?
My free trial has ended, and I'm not seemingly missing much.

I was a bit dismayed at the lack of a manual — I'm not about to pay money for a bunch of videos.
Videos take a long time to watch, you can't refer back to them when necessary, and truth be told I don't remember stuff from videos very well.
Articles I can read solve all of those problems.

I have spend way to much time and frustrations about the EV line. Just accept it's the nature of the game. Mostly is because of MW pots, but honestly just let it go. I keep it in my graph to show others how hard the variance is in this format.

Yes I have EDGE and bought a HUD specially for 6+. Making it yourself is not easy in this programme. HM or PT are not looking for adding 6+ in their HUD. Maybe thats good :)

Yes but if you google a bit you'll find most answers, also they have a forum you can get to via the site. They are active on that.

I tend to fold to shoves pre unless I'm in for more than the original pot (10 in this case).
However since equities run so close I can see it making sense.
I love it when they block each others' outs

So this morning we broke the glass sealing _smile: and are over half way of part 1 of the challenge _drink:

Last 2 weeks I've been working more and more on my game. In game I feel I'm slowly dare to take some spots and so far it's going great. I do know I run 90Bi above EV and hope to get this line more up in the second half of the challenge. The last 1000 hands or so I've been taking a lot of R spots to bluffbet very small like 10-20% pot. This is depending on the F and T play obv and the board but so far so good :)

Also the schedule is really helpfull and takes away the feeling of needing to play more or wanting to play at times that are not optimal. I do have to admit the gym spots are not done because it was like 30°C here... _drink:
