haha yes on other front can't say the same unfortunatley, my other dog (not the "famous" fritz) almost killed a cat this morning.
breaking up the fight, being all coverd in blood is not exactly how one likes to start the day. she "only" bit the cats leg, so cat (its one of the few cats in the city that will actually pick fights with dogs over running o_O) will be fine in couple of days but what a crazy action on an empty stomach in the early morning....
So don't feel like heading back to the tables today, will try to finish reading jnandez book and completing my notes.
By the way if somebody has a nice colorcoding concept that not too complex, 6-8 colors maybe? i'd like to start "upgrading" on that front..

no ggcare cash - so result pretty much same(probably got like a bit of rb and 1-2$ from leaderboards, will make an update post, also with some hands from the sunrun yesterday later or tomorrow.

Soooo - yesterday wasn't exactly great for my BR as the graph indicates already, but of course don't want to withold my results from the long session yesterday.
In Spoilers you will find 2-3 of the beauties that tried to crush my soul - 50-60% ones of course i also barely won, but well.... what can possibly go wrong? :)
At least GG again didn't leave me hanging totally and could make a nice 50$ score (had 59bb which probably is a new record for me ^^)
Overall ran marginal 20 buyins under ev or +4,1bb/100 EV vs -51,9bb/100 net....

welp yesterday sucked, barely connected with any boards, played bad, towards the end even blank tilt... on top smooth 9 stacks under ev.

having inspection next week in my company means an extra pile of work that came unexpected (the usual thing with inspections )
and i guess wanted to have a nice fun session befor jumping into this tomorrow.
Couldn't really get this out of my mind - any1 who has a business probably can relate - when you are in the recycling world this has quite a multiplying effect - since persons responsible aren't necessarily educated in your specific field and one wrong assumption doesn't just mean pay some fine, you are actually with one leg in prison.
So here it doesn't apply, that if you have done nothing wrong you don't need to worry.
to give an example (don't know, its quite a weird world i work in so maybe this is of interest to someone ^^ - otherwise warning - maybe boring and obv not poker related)

This happend with a truck going to germany transporting circuit boards from tv-set-top boxes (manufactured ~2003-2010 - clearly non dangerous waste - important note for later ^^)
german police stopped the truck - didnt know is this dangerous or non dangerous waste... which is ok, they are police, they dont need to know, nor can they know everything, so this went to the next higher authorities, which then decided that the govermentinstitution near deliveryadress is responsible. the truck was still 700km away.... so this guy thats now determening the fate of my truck is 700km away and makes it clear to me that he doesn't even know anything about this type of waste and also will not go there to do his job, because he wouldn't be able to judge this anyway - which is his JOB! he is there to judge this situation!. he has a few pictures the police took - on one he sees PCB Made in China, written on a circuit board - which shouldnt be suprsiing to anyone with a brain - since it stands for Printed Circuit Board Made in China....
Well to him after googeling what could be wrong with this type of waste he found out that capacitors containing PCB are considerd dangerous - those are not used and forbidden wordlwide since ~1970
Also it would not be written on the board, and not even on the capacitory (sign for that is "cd" and those capcitors have a very specific shape you just don't find anymore today)
It didn't matter that i could show him that this obviously is not what he thinks it is and literally any person with a brain can figure this out with 10minutes on google (sending him all the links / fotos / etc ofc) - he made up his mind - the truck comes from bosnia so it must be wrong what i am saying (yep living and having a company in a country with probably highest rate of corruption in europe besides belarus has a rippling effect but id even go as far and say he is just a fucking fascist).
so after the truck being parked for 2 weeks without him ever actually heading out to do his job, this one line from a foto "pcb made in china" that you will find in any device you are reading this with right now most likely^^ means i am transporting some 50 year old waste that would be considerd dangerous .... (these mentioned tv boxes are from a major provider in germany, famous model, you can find images of the boards online - i showed him all this of course and they are obv not from that time period nor would there be any reason to suspect they used anything suspicious during manufacturing)
Anyhow he sends out a letter to the goverment here, stating i am transporting dangerous waste / or in other words i am comitting a serious crime that can be punished with 5 years in jail.
Luckily here in frkn bosnia the person responsible actually was well educated and provided with the same infos he immediately understood whats going on - this guy in germany is just an asshole making an example out of me and obv there was 0 crime comitted.
When you are one of the big players you can sue and drag this into court and what not, i am not that - bottomline ~6000€ lost
Once the truck arrived here (on order by german goverment it had to be returned) i send the exact same truck again, as always at all the boarders it passes it got inspected - ohh suprise, nothing wrong with it and arrived in normal manner.

I would still like to break this guys face and i will never forget his name - anyhow this were 3 weeks of utter horror for me, because your life suddenly is in the hands of somebody else without no fault on your side - its a very horrifying situation to be in and a type of worry that i guess i am not able to carry to the pokertables without it affecting me.

knocking on wood this was the only instance so far where i encouterd a person that was clearly out to get me as part of a real inspection, but you never know who will be the next one and will it be a someone like this douche....
(also had police here in bosnia come to my warehouse claiming to be inspection - but this is another story that i can share if any1 is interested )

Maybe someone here read this and found it interesting giving a maybe unusual perspective on a business most people never think about ^^ Anyhow for me this was good self therapy and i feel actually more confident that things next week will go well - which lets me also make a small jump to poker that became apperant to me by typing the story - just because someone broke our Set of Aces with runner runner quads doesn't mean we need to worry about this constantly in the future.

just wanted to bring a quick update - have been on the road a lot, my inspection finished without single complaint and obv am very happy with that.
Now i am in the process of moving my company closer to my home, which means the warehouse has to be empty, so the next month will be dedicated to this task. Its a lot of stuff, hundreds of pallets with IT equipment or parts of it that need to be sold / send to rafinery - most of the equipment (tools, shelfs, forklift) has to go too.

Have played some hands in the meantime - but mostly a bit of plo2 for the luls in my breaks on the phone - am now @ ~605$ so there was barely a change and as summer is right at the door overall i expect to be playing a bit less and will change my structure of updates to a more weekly thing instead of posting exact results each time i played - still will fire some updates inbetween of course and pot when streaming, Its just too nice outside to spend too much time on numbers

Still am also busy trying to learn more and more about how to approach plo and the mental side of poker - even so my bankroll is small and the money has no meaning in the traditional sense of money, i kinda became attached to it - best comparison for me is maybe a game like D2 or Path of Exile, anyone who played a hardcore (you die once all progress is lost) character befor can perhaps relate. Once you invested a certain amount of time you don't want it to be gone and this seems to be where i am at.
This bothers me and i feel like i started to make progress in understanding myself which hopefully will lead me back to my initial "fuck it just do your best and have fun" approach.
Also reading JNandez book/posting hands/watching more videos helped me a lot giving my approach to PLO a few new perspectives and hope i will be able to implement all new gained knowledge better and better each session.
With a bit more time will update on the book too, with a small resume from my side.

Heading into the weekend i think will have time to fire up the stream again and will update as soon as i do :) Now its back on the road (need to finish my working visa) ^^
So for now GL & HF to all of you ! And hope to see you later :)

ahahah yes i think it was indeed your blog but i honestly wasn't sure anymore where i saw it when posting ^^ So big sorry for this :)

well my business is basically build around used IT equipment.
So refurbishment / wholesales of used laptops / computers / ram / cpus etc.
The things that cannot be resold above their recycling value will be collected / seperated / send to the proper rafinery.
Then there is inbetweens like for example TV-Set-Top Boxes that contain hard disks. The Hard Disk often still has a marketvalue but the rest of the box is just good for recycling(or even has to be destroyed by order of the supplier) - so we take out the HDD(test it, repack it and wholesale it) and seperate the rest for recycling into the best possible fractions, like diffrent kinds of boards have diffrent kind of value in gold / copper / palladium etc and also require diffrent processes to recover the maximum. Like a powersupply board usually is high in copper at best, but barely has gold, so its not as important to remove aluminum from those, but the logic board with cpu / ram etc contains good chunks of gold aswell and therefor aluminum (heatsinks) must be removed as its problematic if gold and alu mix in the melting process and you will recover less gold & alu in the end.
Of course this is a bit simplified and there is more components to consider and this is what i know and do best (knowing what can be recoverd and resold as product and also understand the remaining values in recycling)
So by now i am mostly focussed on moving large qty(selling b2b) of something that would fit the inbetween category as it involves relatively little work on my end and yields the highest chances for good profits

Back to Poker, i indeed want to move up to PLO10 soon but discoverd these imbalances on the mental side paired with my still quite basic knowledge of PLO - so befor making that step i want to have this worked out a bit better. There is just not point in being "scared money" and playing PLO + important real life work that needs to be done.

So by playing a bit PLO2/5 + studying + solving the work that needs to be done over the next month or maximum 2 month, i think i will get to where i want to be. Once i finished moving my company closer to home and having cleared all the remaining stocks it will take a big chunk of pressure of my chest and that right now is just priority #1.
Depending how good/fast i am progressing with this (reallife challange) will direclty relate to how much/fast i can fully enjoy this pokerchallange again.
Just feel like i am not in the right headspace to focus on both and need to go step by step here with the proper priority and that leaves poker in a quite distant rank for now that just needs to be fun without "pressure" when time allows it^^

On another note - yesterday was on a really cool concert - probably nothing that speaks to a lot of people, still i loved it and want to advertise this "band" a little ^^ Talking about "Mimika Orchestra" - mixing lots of jazz elements and local Balkan style music.

After another week of some progress in my warehouse i am home for the weekend.
Fireing up the Stream for a bit and also wanted to give a quick update.
I am currently at ~1k$ (haven't downloaded the HH's and don't know how many hands i've played so just gonna leave it at this for now) and also feel like i have overcome a bit of my hardcore character fears - what good does a lvl 90 do if you don't run the extra mile to lvl99 ?
So today gonna fire some bullets at PLO25 - latest if! i hit the 800$ mark or even sooner, depending how i feel would move down to PLO10 - but i'd say better lets stack up and not down!
