I really gotten into Russian Drum and Bass recently.

We once went on a camping trip to a spot along the Kicking Horse river.
Across the river was a rail yard with several locomotives that idled all night long...
When I have a smooth session, or just need to regain energy, I queue this song because of the lyrics "No one said it's gonna be easy, but that don't mean it's gotta be hard". I know it's like a love song, but I just ignore those parts, and interpret it as a motivational song like when she sings "There's ain't no one like you" I interpret it as "believe in yourself".
Do you guys do something like this? I mean interpret a song purposefully differently than it meant to be to fit your situation or feelings.

I don't — I just listen for background.
If I'm playing poker or studying, having music with meaningful lyrics actually makes it harder to do those tasks, because I keep focusing on the music.
Sometimes, though when I want to just listen to music, I listen to songs from when I was a teenager — so the 60's and '70s
Like so...
