Kinda deep run in the most expensive tournament of the week, Bounty Hunters HR Main Event 525$ in which I got through a 30$ satellite. Interestingly, it was my first week when I started selling my actions to bigger tournaments and one investor was not afraid of my 1,15 markup

I m wondering about your 0-10k MTT challenge on GG Network. What was your bankroll management? It seems you reached bigger stakes pretty quickly.
And what do you think is good BRM for aspiring professional MTT player? (fields like 500-1k plrs)

I would only invest maximum 1% of my bankroll for tournament, especially for the big fields. Usually, the more the people, the higher the variance. The only time I would consider more expensive tournament is some kind of special ones, like Sunday Million
Got to that 525$ Bounty tournament through satellite again. If you want to buy my share of 1,15 mark up, you can do that on Natural8 software The game is on Sunday evening

I'm not an MTT reg, but the player pool on 888poker is soft enough I can play MTTs with +EV. I have somewhat the same rule for buy-ins, with the only exception of PKO tournament, where I spend slightly more (never more than 2% though). What do you think about this exception?
Also, do you plan to accept staking anywhere else than Natural8? For example on Pokerstars?
Well, Knockout tournaments are really softer than vanilla tournaments, but also they have higher variance. When you cover other players, you should play a lot of hands meaning you also risk a lot. So I would be cautious with that 2% of bankroll
As for staking on other platforms, probably not. Unless PokerStars make something similar like GG that makes staking easy and smoothly
How did it go? Unfortunately have no $$$ on GG.
It wasn't my best Sunday session, but not the worst. Something on average

After intense week of grinding, it showed a profit of 600$. I can take it
As promised, here is my bustout hand in the Malta Festival opening event And yes, it was A4 offsuit..
So I'm sitting on the Button with A4o having 20BB in my stack. SB has around 35BB, BB has around 14BB what makes a little awkward stack distribution. All my 3 options have some reasoning: fold, minraise/fold or simply going allin. Usually I tend to take the most aggressive line when the actions have similar value. But was that a case here? Still in doubt
First look what ICMizer thinks about shoving:
So it is a profitable shove with A4o. However, there is also a merit for minraising and folding to a shove. I sensed that SB would 3bet jam a lot if I minraised, so I didn't like this option too much. Also worth mentioning that there was an instant payjump - currently 34 players left with 1020$ prize, while 33rd player gets 1160$. That's why I raised 15BB and used my timebank for a minute before the other guy busted on another table

Just out of curiousity - how do you account for ICM when there is 5 tables left? Does ICMizer allow you to enter all the payouts?
Just asking because the other day I was talking to bencb from raiseyouredge. He told me about a new ICM module that they will release tomorrow. It has calculated ranges for many different spots from 10% of the field busted and beyond money bubble. Of course final table is easy to calculate, but ranges with the module pre-FT are quite counterintuitive sometimes. I tested the program already and ranges are a good thing tighter but also more aggressive in most cases.

Shoving A4s and minraise-folding A4o. Crappy Axo make pretty natural raise-fold hands in general. With 15bb or so just shoving.

What I wrote is a bit misleading I guess, so let me elaborate a bit. I'm grinding HU SNGs, and my main focus is still on them right now, I play MTTs because the micro MTTs on 888 are extremely soft, and I can play them profitable without putting too much effort in learning MTTs. After I have a stable ROI with the HUs, I want to focus more on MTTs, but until that a little practice won't hurt as long as I can play them BE or better. My maximum buy-in is capped at $2.2 right now, and my bankroll is over $220, but in the beginning I had a smaller roll, that's why I said 2% maximum, actually it was never more than like 1.5-1.8%, and hopefully my roll won't slip below $220 ever again.
So my idea is that with let's say a $300 roll I let myself register on a $5.5 PKO in theory, but once my roll is under $275, I forget them until my bankroll is recovered. The same with vanilla tournaments with the 1%, but I move up depending on my skills instead of my bankroll, and move down strictly according to this BRM.
Sorry for this extremely uninteresting post, I just felt like I made the impression of an inresponsible person, what I'm not, or at least I try my best not to be one.

Good points! I am opening by minraise tighter here in general at this stack distribution so A4o is a good candidate for minopen/fold to a 3bet
