Well, another record this week

A win in the 150$ 6-max Bounty event of almost 700 participants. I was running so hot, that with 2 tables left, I knocked all but one opponent so my bounty prize is huge, more than double the regular prize.

Fun fact, I almost missed this session because 2 days ago my computer broke and I've only got my repaired PC back an hour before the games. I was still considering if I should run my session, but something whispered that it should be a good one..

One more fun fact, my computer crashed in the last session when I still had two tables running. Had to use my wife's mobile phone to finish it I even managed to reach a Final Table in one of the Battle of Malta events, but with no reads and notes it was difficult to show my A game.

This week I'm off the tables so you can bravely dive into action And for the next weekly review instead of numbers, I will post some pictures from the event I am heading

It must have been crazy to adjust in the final 2 tables when you carry all the bounties? How did your strategy change when everyone wanted to go for you? Or... could they not because you were CL?
I think that is the part of the game where the real skill comes into play because no text book and no solver can aid you in such a complex situation.

Thanks all for support Indeed it was interesting dynamics at final table, I was chipleading most of the time so I didn't have to worry about being dominated by chips too much. Easy to play when shortie goes Allin and you have a decent hand to call him down
Now about the time outside poker.. As you can see, my last post was a month ago and in that time I haven't played a single tournament. First of all, me with my university colleagues had a trip to Hungary for a Formula-1 event. Tried to add some photos but it seems like PokerStrategy has some problems with loading it Then I finally moved from starting point regarding buying the land. Made one offer so now I am waiting to get confirmation from the government. And finally, my little daughter just started going to the kindergarden so I wanted to spend last days together Seems like she is having much fun there so hopefully adaptation period will go smoothly for her and I could dive deep into poker arena again

Only 1 small session last week as unfortunately I got sick Our daughter just started going to the kindergarden where viruses spread very fast between them However that one session was enough for me to realize that I can't remember proper opening ranges, betting sizes and frequencies, and I was just one month off Will have to revisit my notebook again!

45 players entered the satellite for UKIPT London and I could sneak into Top3 for a package I've already been in London this year, but that trip wasn't particularly good one. Time to change things around

It is 3rd week in a row when I can't make profits. Usually while WCOOP is running, it is either go big or go broke, but I am somewhere in the middle Bricked all more expensive WSOP online tournaments, but had some scores in the softer ones. Also got deep in Mini Sunday Million, busted around 100 place. Would you find a fold when it is so obvious villain is on the combo draw? As this was a bounty tournament, I made a crying call. Couldn't sleep all night as I am still unsure about my decision

I wonder if we necessarily want to cbet flop? Its very dangerous flop where opponent can have most of two pairs, sets and straight combos. TT or JJ are probably not automatic 3bet versus UTG? Also we dont do that great versus those combo draws and there are lot of awkward runouts. So this hand could work ok as check and go from there.

Versus this x-shove call is ok but marginal if we assume he always has combo draw. Meaning at least 13 outs. Issue is if he has sometimes some two pair combos which are somewhat reasonable to use for this shove as well because those hands are quite vulnerable on this flop. But to me this spot feels like one where we dont necessarily want to give villain option for x-r. Might be nitty approach though

Very good point about checking back the Flop. We have done some simulations with Solver, and it is more in favor for playing it passively. However, sometimes you can cbet with a big sizing, but still wants to fold facing a shove. Also worth mentioning that these calculations were made on standard tournament, not bounties, so it adds couple of percentages to calling, but probably still not enough

Not a bad week, a 4 figure profit is always a good way to get back into winning days Some deep runs in the WSOP online events, but no Final Tables unfortunately. The closest being this one..

Last hand AQ into AK, some kind of a cooler on a shorthanded table with shallow stacks

This week will be my last full grinding week before attending Battle of Malta. As this is my favorite festival of the year, I will do my best to reach my peak form in the coming days Have a good profitable week all!
