Hi all. I'm Andrew, A.K.A "MILF" on KK Poker. Formerly known as MILFHunter. I used to strategize with other members in these threads way back in my early days. Review hand histories. Etc. Yesterday I won the biggest poker tournament sum in my life. A $30 buy in that netted me over $2.3k USD in profit. Using the tips and tricks I learned here on the website. I also post videos on YouTube reviewing my Cash and MTT NL holdem hand histories in depth. The channel is Black Dragon Studios. I didn't know who else to share this with but I also won another free $100 tournament ticket from the free wheel spin you get for winning a tournament like that as well so I'll be playing in that soon. What stakes to you play on KKPoker?
So far, I've just been playing the lowest stakes there.
My Wi-Fi is flaky, and I hate to risk more than necessary.

Thanks VorpalF2F. Right now I'm playing anywhere from .02/.04 all the way up through NL100. Just depends on how I'm feeling that day! For tourneys usually $5 or $10 but on a weekend I might jump into a $15 or $30 game. With the tournament win I just bought the 90 day Platinum VIP package so I have the HUD to work with for the next 3 months! Send me your username if I ever see ya on there I'll toss ya a drink.
Pokerplayernumber1 just keep learning all you can about the game. I have been playing for 18 years. A lot of things that may not make sense now will make a lot of sense and become almost automatic later in the future. Such as hand selection. Reading a HUD instantly. Etc. Etc. The only thing I struggle with is bankroll management but hopefully with this boatload of cash. It's more than I had in real life before the tourney, I will feel less intimidated when I lose a few dollars here and there. And I won't have to put any more of my own money into the game which feels nice. Let's say I was a slow learner.

Can you share any details on the tourney you took part in? Buy In, participants, how you struggled through it (or not...) and if you now got the shiny badge as a tournament winner on KKPoker.
I'm grateful to Pokerstrategy.com for leading me to KK poker they are the best poker site I've ever played on. I recorded the entire final table with facecam for most of it. I have the badge of honor. There were 350 participants. Buy in $30 USD. There were over 100 rebuys. I didn't rebuy. I was down to 3BB in the final 3 when my aces were cracked by 44. I climbed back into first and knocked the guy out who cracked my aces with the same hand. 44 won me the tournament. I have to wait to post the video to YouTube but I can send it to someone if they want to watch it or if you think it would be helpful to post it to the website. I saved the pictures of the amount won and everything too.
Edit: and that's great news about the gold status my love for poker has been reignited and I plan to come on this website and learn as much more about the game as I can! Thanks again!
