ofc you can start raising flop. most ppl cbet 100% flops like this but can't defend vs aggression with the proper frequency so we can attack their weakness quite wide and if we do so we need strong hands in that range too.

this is kinda std sizing scheme. only take notes if he bet other size with Ax+ OTF

Before the hand even began, I had him marked as Pink which means loose/weak so he did something before.

So, yeah, him bet/calling/chasing SD with the Spades out is kind of note worthy also.

His line is kinda normal. He may have strategy to bet 1/3 on flop or check. Then bet big or oven overbet is sizing we should use on turn as we usually want to start polarising. I dont think you have enough information to determine that he is adjusting sizing to strength of hand, not his strategy. You would need to see that he uses big sizing on dry texture with strong hand.

Anyway its SB vs BB SRP spot - shoving there set on relatively safe river is not even close to be 'thin'.

Sorry, but I think the river may be over played. It's hard to think V has the nuts by the river but they have it some frequency of the time, and our hand has gone down from 3rd best hand on flop to 5th (6th if JJ gets to river). I'm struggling to see what worse hands a tight player is calling you with at this point given the large turn bet and the river shove. A7s,A9s,AJs (like 7 combos)? I'm unconvinced a tight player calls a shove on AK/AQ/AT, and AQ, AT may not call the turn bet. So on the river your getting called on a shove for sure by 9 combos of better sets for sure AA,77,99 lets say 1 combo of T8s and 1 JJ combo on the off chance V makes a bad call.

It's not looking like a good shove to me. Perhaps bet less on the river? Maybe raise flop, bet turn, x/c river? Any thoughts on all this?

Villain has less than a pot size bet left on the river. I don't think shoving is to bad. Villain shouldn't have many draws on the turn after the huge raise. You could think of raising the flop as well, but a set didn't need to much protection on a dry flop like this.
