JTs 3bet Pot CO vs BU

Preflop I would 4bet bluff or fold. His 3bet is large so hand like JTs cant really call.
As played on flop I'm fine with both call and check/raise. Fold is clearly out of question if you have gutshot+backdoor fd.

I think but we can not always play 4bet here or is the hand almost always suitable for this in CO vs BU ?

For a check/raise on the flop you need some decent reads I think, but I would most likely call as well. Otherwise you shouldn't call pre-flop in the first place.

I'm not a fan of a 4bet bluff out of position without decent reads or stats that villain folds a lot on 4bets. Otherwise you play a big pot out of position.

Without any other info I think folding this pre is fine. Your hand isn't going to play well against his range and your OOP.

I never said you should 4bet every single time. Only that from 3 options possible(fold/call/4bet) call is IMHO worst so I would 4bet or fold. It doesnt mean I would 4bet every time.

I think you're better off 4bet bluffing with hands like Axs or Kxs as they have blockers. I would probably avoid 4bet bluffing at 10NL all together unless I had some more info or previous history with villain

We can profitably call the 3bet but under certain condition. It really depends on his postflop tendencies. He must be capable of making at least 2 streets of bluffs. Otherwise no point to call the 3bet. Even if we hit it will be hard to extract value. Fold or 4bet are the best options. As played seems standard postflop.

I also find 4bet bluff OOP with JTs dangerous there I would rather tend to fold.
Just in view of my postflop skill which of course is not yet very mature.

I woul also not 4B bluff in NL10, preflop call JTs is 50% call / 50% fold.
On the flop - fold - backdoor flush, backdoor str or gutshot str is too far and weak for call.

IN 141 hands I don't think the villain can have reads of your game and is exploiting your fold to 3Bet. Therefore you could consider a fold pf. More than you will play OOP.
Already in the hand, it's a x/r flop with the gutshot and backdoor flush; I don't tell the Over Cards to me because we are behind when he pays us.
If only the raise pays the plan for the turn if a club falls it would be x / push or Bet turn and push river, to throw his Axs and you want some OP because your line is the same as you would play with a set and / or with KK +.

If a club doesn't land on the turn, I would abandon the bluff, because we have much less equity and it has to work many more times to be profitable.
I don't know what you think of my reasoning.

Villains stats seems "good" enough to 4b/fold in this spot, calling is ok as well but youll find yourself giving up a lot on missed flops, in this spot definately never folding flop and giving up turn unimproved
