Hey Guys!

Time for monthly update..
The results for last month and the half (I was away for 2 weeks, so I only played half of the month june) was the worst in my last 4 years (since I have started to use beta version of Breakthrough).

1. SuperSport poker (Croatian poker site), winnings are in HRK ( HRK-USD around 7-1)

2. PokerStars

What can I say..Well, I had played the best poker in my life, it's insane that results are pretty much the worst ever.
There were so many sick set ups, where I basically lost every 4bet pot with my KK and AA, on boards like 239r, 4610r, 33Jr. Also I did run 6 times KK into AA, 2 times it was big deep 4bet pots nearly 300bb deep(on 24483, and 33795) where I was 4bettor and did b/b/shove. I only got 1 time AA on KK. Also there were more then 20 AK,AKs on AA/KK in steal situations, and in one session I got 4 times KK on AK and lost all of them (all of this happened on Stars).
On SuperSport situation was similar.

It's all excuses, and I really hate excuses. Results are like they are, I just have to accept it and move on.
I was away for more then 2 weeks, also my kids had chicken pox, but I still played 270 hours in month and a half, so I really gave the best I could. And I feel good, I know the results are bad, but I played the best I ever played, and I am really happy because of that. Also I did a lot of learning and working, I basically felt good in almost every spot I'd been, even I lost most of them.

Let's take a look of the monthly goals.

Plans for last month:
1. Play 130 hours monthly - done
2. Learn inPIO at least 20 hours monthly - done
3. Stream on twitch at least 30 hours monthly - failed (did over 20h)
4. Crush Cash Game 10bb/100 - failed on Stars, done on SuperSport poker
5. Read 3 poker non related books - failed (I just couldn't find the time for anything non poker related, but I'm going into vacation and will fix this for sure)
6. Work out 4 times a week - done

I'm going to vacation today, and I will be away around 2 weeks.
After that, "Mamba mentality", a lot of work, learning, playing and get back Crushing!!! I'm full of optimism, desire to play, gonna recharge my batteries and be back better then ever. There is no "failure", only "success in progress", and I'll make it done next time for sure (every goal!).

Just one more thing - thank you for the support, some of you join our Discord channel, contacted me, gave me ideas about the content you would like to see, it means really a lot to me, It gives me motivation to be better, to work harder. So just continue to be supportive and active, ask anything, and give your ideas about future content you would like to see here on Pokerstrategy, and after I'm back, it's time to make it happen!

Wish you all the best.

Heeey Guys!

I'm back from my vacation (in fact I did get back before few days ), and I had to take care of some boring stuff, but now I'm here.
I also played a little bit on my vacation (on my phone on Croatia poker site "SuperSport poker", mostly HU).
Like I told you before my vacation, I played the best poker of my life (and results were worst in last 3years), and like I didn't left. I just continue to play at the same level. This time we run a lot better and results are better.

This are the hands I played few days before my vacation and few days after I got back.

PokerStars results:

Croatian Poker site "SuperSport Poker":

I was also up around 5k$ on SuperSport poker that I played on my phone, it was mostly HU, so it wasn't a problem to play without HUD(it was mostly 1 or 2 tables).
Maybe a little bit of upswing is on the way :f_grin:

WCOOP is starting 4.9., and I will be playing every day most of the events, so september will be a full grind mode, I'm ready and fired up!!

GOALS for September:

1. Play most of the events of WCOOP from 04.09-28.9
2. Have at least 3 FT
3. Win at least 1 WCOOP event
4. GYM 4 times a week+2 times a week sport session(tennis, basketball..)
5. Make a video series for PokerStrategy (every week), content is still in the air, Coach Lemon and I think that "comparing limits from micros", where I would dissect every limit(regs, fish..), write the bigest mistakes to avoid and tips how to crush certain pool, and also compare limit by limit.
This would be something that nobody has done ever, and the content would be only for PokerStrategy. But I need your imput here, If I will do this - I need to know that you want to see it, that you will be active, follow it and give your feedback (I would make video for example ever Monday, but I could also make 1-2 streams of every limit that you can also have better idea about the pools and how I play against them), if you want this, please leave your imput here, give also your ideas, I'm open for discussion..
6. At the end of the month I plan also to play LIVE POKER(to get the rust off, I didn't play last 3 years because of Corona), and in October I plan to play few big MTT's.

That's it guys, I'm looking forward to your feedback.

BTW, I will stream tommorow on my Twitch, from 22:30h CET, be with me and help me to prepare for WCOOP. :f_cool:
Let's crush it together! :f_drink:

See ya today from 22:30h, little bit of cash games, 2 tabling, a lot of room for your questions and talk about strategy and rangevsrange interaction.

Hey Guys!
Quick update...

WCOOP so far is fk sick! Losing 90% of my all ins, whatever I have, every big spot is a bad beat, KKvsAx,KKvssmallerPP, QQvsAx,AK against basically anything, they call 30bb 3b shove with A10o, then KQo,KJs my AK can't hold against anything.
Flips, they are some story - I would call them more Imps, cos I saw more snow in the May then won them.

This is my chip EV in MTT's on stars.

I'm over 12 million chips bellow EV, it's just insane, this 2.5million chips I won is equal to 90K Profit, so I'm just thinking what would happen if I run normally, and won that 14million chips of my EV.

Also, after worst month and a half in my last 3 years in Cash, I had in 25 last session only one slightly losing session.

I'm almost back to full 10bb/100 on 320k on PokerStars, I feel insanely good at the tables, and it's really frustrating for me to play 8 hours MTT, get 10 bad beats, loose a bunch of money, while I'm crushing 10 times better opponents. But when It's going like it's going, I just want to work 10 times harder and sit and play even more. I just can't give up, I'm going into my every mistake in Solver, I see a bunch of 10bb,5bb's pot's where I could maybe play it better, use better sizing etc. Just sick things.

What I really love about me is also the thing that I hate the most . I just can't "let it go", I just have to get back in there, and be 10 times better then I had been, and go and crush them. MTT's can give you that feeling of "powerless", the feeling that I hate more then anything, and I have never felt it in Cash games. And It can really rip your spirit, it's doing that to me in this momment. But I will accept it, I will learn from it, I will remember exactly how it feels, every second of it, and I will grow and get better!!

Today is a day off from WCOOP, maybe I will make a stream of cash, just to get my mind of it, I will let you know if I will. Also we have basically aranged all the details about that big video weekly series comparing and crushing the limit by limit. The good stuff is in front of us!

Thanks for sticking with me, I apreciate your feedback and support!

Hey, I feel the tilt in your post.
I think your mindset/workethic is fantastic and if you haven't read it 'the mental game of poker' is really fantastic to recognise tilt and all it's different forms. I know I play micro stakes but the number of bad beats in short deck are way bigger than any other game so I have some experience in that section...
Wish you all the best!

Hey Fredjen, I apreciate your comment, and thank you for nice wishes.
Yup, there was definitely some tilt there, I'm only human, but I try my best to not affect my game.

Mtt's shows you what you are really made from!(and I made of stone :f_cool:)

I will made cash stream probably Friday, I will let you know, so I hope I to see a lot of you Guys with me. I will do a lot of rangevsrange interaction, talk about exploits and adjustments, it will be interesting, you are all welcome to join in. Let's crush it together!

Good luck Guys!

Hey Guys, the WCOOP is over, so let's summer it up...

My Semptember goals:

1. Play most of the events of WCOOP from 04.09-28.9 - done
2. Have at least 3 FT - fail, only 1 FT, 5.place on 109$ event, card dead on FT, really soft table, FT lasted for hours, I had 15bb, rest of them around 20bb, BN rekro opened I shove A3s got called from A8o.
3. Win at least 1 WCOOP event - obviously fail (at the end, we finished WCOOP slightly losing, and with the run I had, It's a Win, I just couldn't get any all in on my side in any spot)
4. GYM- done
5. Make a video series for PokerStrategy - will start really soon...
here are some teaser hands played latelly :) , just to know what to expect.

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

6.

7.

Even with WCOOP running I had played a lot of cash, we are almost 350K hands on PokerStars. This are the results:

This are results by number of fishes:

I think It's obvious I need to work on my game against fish, with all the regs my winrate is 10bb/100, the problem is when I can't range players - I have problems there and I need to work on it, maybe cut down the bluffs against them even in the spots where my range is crushing (especially when they can't recognize that), I think I probably overbluff this players, even I thought It was good spots.

I just have to work more on my game, and I will do it, recognize my mistakes, fix it, and get better.

So just to finish, expect a big series starting soon, with live streams, guests on streams, giving you everything I know about the rangevsrange interection, GTO, exploits, max exploits, Pool analysis, Pool leaks, top hot spots,etc..

So please be active, support me in this, so I know it's worth to be doing it, give your ideas, critics, if it's from heart and in good will - I will always take it and apreciate it.

Best regards.

I love how you take us with you in the thinking process at the action. This is really great stuff! You made me curious about checking out your stream too.

Ama- can I ask why hand 2 note not hm3 or pt4?

Wonder what logic was in number 2 hand? I doubt our 6 blocker has any real value. Though raising with JT in villain shoes seems unnecessary but I am probably just a nit for these games :)

FriskyArt- thanks for the reply, I'm glad you like it, I will get even better, and give 100% of me.
You are welcome to the stream also.

Why Hand2Note? I had co-operate with holdem manager for years, my former Partner and the owner of the "NoteCaddyEdge" franchise - worked there, long story short, my "Breakthrough HUD" just couldn't work there, they said : "there was to many definitions", and some features they couldn't incoroporate (even they promised to do it and fix their issues - I waited for 1 and a half year). They where just going from lie to lie, and the truth was they didn't have the knowledge to do it, there were full of bugs of their own software(notecaddy) that where ruining my program.

I get in contact with Hand2Note, and we started to build program from beggining, and I had made it even a lot better, add more stuff and definitions, also a new features regarding showing the range in every spot, my idea of "Breakthrough" was to get information how opponent not just plays, also how he percieves every part of his range, what are his leaks in every poker line and where his range breaks, and how to exploit that.

"Breakthrough" runs really good on Hand2Note, fast and responsive and I plan to add more features, a lot more boards with turns and rivers included. They are open to ideas, cooperation, supporting good things and trying to improve every day, like I'm doing also.

Ghaleon- he is raising the flop with most of the 2pairs and set's, not that many FD, and on the turn he shouldn't ever split his range into overbet and normal size, and I knew he knows that, cos you wan't to bet all your 2pairs and set's on the turn(the best size is small size like 1/3), by overbetting you are weakening your range extremely. Basically he reps the flush on the turn, but I know that he wouldn't put it into overbet range there(and also he doesn't have that much(he has around 10% of flushes on the turn),a fter that it was easy game.

Btw Guys, we have started the Big video series on PokerStrategy, every Monday we relase a new video, and at the end of week (mostly Friday 20h CET, with exception of this week, I will do it Thursday in same time, because I'm travelling Friday), I'm doing live stream, where you will see me play that pool, you are welcome to join in, we gonna play 4 tables so it will be a lot of action, I will be talking about GTO, exploits, max exploit strategy, adjustments you can make and how to make it, be active, ask questions, if you are interested to talk about any hand from stream or video be free to ask it here on the blog.

At the end of the month we are making dual stream with a guest and conclude it with "Limit Summary", with stuff like "bigest mistakes to avoid, exploits you can do, adjustments you can make, and then in future compare limit by limit, top reg by top reg, reg by reg, fish by fish, recro by recro, etc. Now you will definitely know that are the differences between limits, and what you need to do to be able to crush your opponents.

Thank you, and see you on stream, Thursday 20:00 CET!

Posting here also because i dont know if you will check comments under the video

the video was great, in the 8 minute of the video, the 88 you folded on the river, would you call if river was a smaller card?
If you had a sample what stats would you look in your HUD to see if you can call the river?
I fold most of these spots and my red line is just falling like a rock, and sometimes when i see big afq rvr and wwsf i call and see overpairs.

I just find it curious if opponent has his strategy so screwed that he understands he shouldn't use overbet, yet he uses it and as extra would not balance it with strong made hands. Would imagine if he uses two sizing he would automatically polarize the big one and leave small sizing bit less protected.

I can understand using one sizing could be best to have protection for those weaker value hands/bluffs with flushes. Then make the potential polarization on the river with sizings. Though if I remember right there was some point in holdem that solver doesn't really go for big overbets on flush boards. Might be that I remember wrong or it was specific spot.

Thx viner, I have answered you question in comments under video.

You are right ghaleon, it's better to have one size in that spot, so you don't divide your range, and put all of it in one size(normal 3/4 to a pot size), and not an overbet.

Guys we had our first live stream, you can check video on my youtube channel, 10buy ins in 1k hands, not bad for first live stream :f_grin:

We had run good, and there was a lot of interesting spots, so be free to check it out, and ask any questions here, also if you like the video, give a thumbs up.

Next video is all about exploit, so be sure to watch it, and come to the next live stream - I will talk a lot about GTO, exploits and max exploits stuff, so it will be interesting.

Thanks and see you soon!:f_drink:
