I don't like the over bet shove with top pair top kicker. Only with reads villain will over play top pair or weaker. Normally around 40% pot bet is big enough for value and protection.

I would expect villain would Cbet a decent amount of the time on the flop. Now you get only action of top pair and better. I don't see a point in 3betting 88 in the BB pre-flop against a UTG open ether.
