Hi midas1979,
I play them occasionally.
The luck evens out for all players over a long period of time.
Skill is what you do with those cards.
The most important skill in hypers is knowing the push/fold ranges for each position.
The next most important skill is noticing how other players play and taking advantage of their mistakes.
Some would argue that those should be reversed
The variance in those games are huge. So you need to beware that you need to deal with a lot of misfortune during those games and not everyone can handle this.

Hyper on microstakes is top unfair for Play, obły lucky hits win here, who push K4s preflop for nearly 20bb and must win thanks lucky trips. I very hate Play tournaments now, go all in preflop with better hand, must lose, push all in preflop and get call opponent with better hand lose too, I prefer cash games for myself, on tournaments must have very good hands for Play and lucky for not lose vs weaker hand.
Hypertouraments have some skill, but they are drastically higher variance. The skills are identifying which players have too tight or wide a shoving range, and too tight or wide a calling range; and knowing the ranges that maximally exploit those mistakes. Many hyperturbo players also have exploitable timing tells and exploitable patterns such as limp folding; or only limping shallow stacks with premium pairs as a trap.
Skill because I am winning in these ... sometimes I'm unlucky though 
At the lower limtis a lot of bad plays are made in these like always shoving or overcalling all shoves with whatever ace or pair, so skill definitely creates an edge in these faster games. Making good folds is important in these games.
Really funny how you can still fold for a few bbs with bounty to win, just because of ICM and because you just have a few bbs more, and you really can't afford to miss anything
