Hi all, :welcome:

A quick update on the PC situation....I received an email that they sent my PC back to me, so I hope that it will arrive sometime tomorrow. xD

I the meantime I had a nice little result yesterday in the CC Daily Platinum freeroll, I reached the final table and finished 2nd. Played also the weekly $300 but my AA got cracked by QQ on the turn. :sifflote:

Sorry for the big picture :sorry:

The weekly update will be back Monday. For now my main focus will still be the MiniMillions on GGPoker. :gl:

I'm getting it in, its a freeroll and players shove and call off very light, occasionally we run into AA or KK, but more often pp or weak Ax or boardways.

This hand is not related to this challenge but I wanted to post it here since now that the MiniMillions is live on GGPoker and I mostly focus on it for now.

The SB has only 4 hands played with a VPIP 75 PFR 0 Limp 67 (GG HUD has him playing 50% of his hands)

Do you guys shove here? It's weird that on the turn I thought that I was ahead, I was thinking that he might play suited hands and also he might have an 10x hand, but I never thought he had this hand.

GG Poker - 400/800 Ante 100 NL (8 max) - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

MP+1: 10,000 (12.5 bb)
CO: 57,558 (71.9 bb)
Hero (BTN): 61,557 (76.9 bb)
SB: 29,825 (37.3 bb)
BB: 9,645 (12.1 bb)
UTG: 9,900 (12.4 bb)
UTG+1: 14,572 (18.2 bb)
MP: 22,196 (27.7 bb)

8 players post ante of 100, SB posts 400, BB posts 800

Pre Flop: (pot: 2,000) Hero has A♠: K♥:
5 folds, Hero raises to 2,000, SB calls 1,600, fold

Flop: (5,600, 2 players) T♦: 3♣: 7♦:
SB checks, Hero bets 1,736, SB calls 1,736

Turn: (9,072, 2 players) K♠:
SB checks, Hero bets 6,714, SB calls 6,714

River: (22,500, 2 players) J♦:
SB checks, Hero checks

Also do you guys think that a bet in ok on the river?

Spoiler

Results: 22,500 pot (0 rake)
Final Board: T♦: 3♣: 7♦: K♠: J♦:

SB shows 3♠: T♥:: (Two Pair, Tens and Threes)
(Pre 32%, Flop 95%, Turn 82%)

Hero shows A♠: K♥:: (One Pair, Kings)
(Pre 68%, Flop 5%, Turn 18%)

SB wins 22,500

Weekly update no. 16-17-18

Played from 16.01.2023 to 05.02.2023

Hi everyone, :welcome:

Finally this past week I got my PC back, so now I am able to play at my setup. ( I was tired of mobile and one table at the time :mdr: During this couple of weeks I have been playing only freerolls, just because I did not want to loose my bankroll by not being able to focus properly. I had some small results ( unfortunately I do not have photos ), but also I had 1 or 2 final tables.

Like I said in previous posts I was playing more on GGPoker and mainly the Mini Millions events, and since this year it seems that on the 888Poker I am able to see the CC Freerolls I decide to build a bankroll there too. So now my time playing is dived to 3 platforms, that's why I am very happy that my PC is back and I can play simultaneously on all.

This challenge will remain a Pokerstars challenge only, so the bankroll on the others platforms will not be included in this. (Maybe if I have some nice/big results I might post them here but it will not add to the bankrolls for this challenge ). I still want to turn those T$1000 into $10 000 :gl:

So at this time the bankroll for this challenge is:

Played from 16.01.2023 to 05.02.2023

Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $1065.41 + T$ 524.07 = $1589.48
Current Bankroll: $1084 + T$ 524.07 = $1608.07

Profit from last week: + $18.59

Goal: $10 000

Since most of the series within my bankroll ended on Pokerstars, (I am not going to play the 50/50 series)....I'm back playing the regular tournaments on the daily schedule. :f_thumbsup:

Take care guys and have a nice week. See you at the tables. :f_drink:

Are you going to play more tournament builders for more T$ if you run out? Or will you just continue with what's in your bankroll?

Starting with this year 2023 Pokerstars removed the Scholars tournaments from there client, so there are no T$ leaderboard tournaments...so I will play with the bankroll that I will build after the T$ are gone.

Oh yes, you mentioned that, I didn't notice that those pay in T$.

Weekly update no. 19

Played from 06.02.2023 to 12.02.2023

Hi everyone, :welcome:

Last week I hadn't played much, do to work taking all of my time, and like you guys probably know by now I do not play when I feel tired. There where some days when I played a few freerolls, while I was watching some football games, and just trying to relax a bit.
But it was a good week to study: I managed to study ranges, especially big field tournament (open ranges with different stack sizes, defend against 3bet, Blind vs blind play, plays vs open raise ) and also reviewing some of the hands that I had marked in HM, so even thought I did not played much I tried and succeeded to study.

Also I'm starting to play a lot more on 888Poker, it seems that they really have some nice tournaments and the field is softer then other platforms (at least at micro levels), so I will build there a bankroll too.

Starting this week the bankroll for this challenge is:

Played from 06.02.2023 to 12.02.2023

Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $1084 + T$ 524.07 = $1608.07
Current Bankroll: $1085.7 + T$ 524.07 = $1609.77

Profit from last week: + $1.70

Goal: $10 000

Take care guys and have a great week. See you at the tables. :gl:

I like 888 for overall, but they do have more than their fair share of problems — and their bonus policy is tragic.

I love their freerolls — there are many, and with a little care you can frequently cash.

Yes I can see that, in most of them since they are hyper-turbos you play around 15-20 hands and you are in the money. If you managed to get a big stack (some all ins) you at least min cash.

For one double-up in the early stage you can coast to a min-cash. One more and you coast to the second tier. If you get one more, then just open-raise decent hands and put pressure on the shorter stacks.

Once you're in the money, you can play sensibly and keep on going.

Weekly update no. 20

Played from 13.02.2023 to 19.02.2023

Hi everyone, :welcome:

Yet again this was a week with a lot of things happening outside poker tables, I'm sorry for that (feels like I let you guys down by not playing that much) but there are some things in my life now that are more important. This week I played from home only Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday , and played just some freerolls. I managed to reach a final table on Wednesday , and finished 6th; I played my hand passively and got knocked out by 106o :sifflote: I never learn.

Also I had some smaller results, but my luck seems to run out on the tournaments that I play during the weekend. I don't win any all ins anymore :transpire:, I'm confident that if I play right my luck will turn, but until then study time and playing right. :gl:

So some small changes in the bankroll this week:

Played from 13.02.2023 to 19.02.2023

Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $1085.7 + T$ 524.07 = $1609.77
Current Bankroll: $1092.57 + T$ 524.07 = $1616.64

Profit from last week: + $6.87

Goal: $10 000

Take care guys and have a great week. :gl: :f_drink:

Weekly update no. 21

Played from 20.02.2023 to 26.02.2023

Hi everyone, :welcome:

Not much to say this week, busy times for me outside poker. On the poker side of things I was focusing mainly on playing the GGMasters Overlay, since this has taken a lot of my time I wasn't able to play much for this challenge.
For the past week I played only 9 freerolls and on Sunday I played the mini EPT Main Event, but I did not cash in any of them.

I hope that things are settling down with other stuff in my life, so I can get back on track with poker. :gl:

This is the bankroll this week:

Played from 20.02.2023 to 26.02.2023

Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $1092.57 + T$ 524.07 = $1616.64
Current Bankroll: $1092.57 + T$ 517.20 = $1609.77

Profit from last week: - $6.87

Goal: $10 000

Take care guys and good luck at the tables. ;)

Since this past week I was focusing mainly on GGPoker and not this challenge I want to let you guys now that I managed to qualify to Day 2 of GGMasters Overlay edition. :f_biggrin:

After playing 3 day 1 tournaments I finally made it to Day 2. I was lucky enough to play 3 $50 FlipNGo sit & go satellites and won them all. So I paid $150 for playing 3 tournaments. :f_thumbsup:

I was hoping to make it deep into day 2, or at least 10-12 levels. :sifflote: I started with 13BB and managed to get up to 48BB at some point. After some time I got back down to 15 BB and shoved from CO after a min raise from the player in MP.

And it was over. Painfull but at least I got $420. :transpire:
