A new update.

The GG Honeymoon promotion has ended for me. In total, I made something like 18$ loss to reach 20 missions. Was certainly +EV and +$ but did not make me get so much. In the future, I will stick again to NL2 to NL5 BSS 6max there.

I also did a few NL10-20 BSS FR sessions again. I stopped doing that before because I went to GG, which also happened because I was a bit frustrated and wanted to try something new. Coming back was good, however:

Spoiler

In particular, I had my best session since I started playing again: 111.51$ in a night session at the weekend. It was not really an upswing however if you compare it to the all-in adjusted outcome. But honestly, it was mostly because there were so many fishes.
2 days before that, I had my first tilt session. You can find it in the graph at 7k. Not sure if it was really that bad or just a little swingy, but felt mentally quite unstable, and then did an emergency stop after 90 minutes and - 43.34$. Interesting new experience. Will stop playing earlier when I find out this is happening.
Before that, I was happy to fly a lot >EV because I won a three-way all-in with AA on the flop against a set by rivering one of my 2 outs. Otherwise, it would have been much less profitable. Lucky me.

Here is my full graph except for the GG donkaments:

Spoiler

BR Stars: 402.38$ (+125.67$)
BR 888: 226.42$ (-15.63$)
BR GG: 253.30$ (+11.99$)

Hands played NL BSS 10-20 (Stars and 888) since last time: 13k

Overall BR changes since last post: +122.03$
Current BR: 882.10$

My plan for the near future is to play Stars and 888 only with good table selection, and try to adjust to 6max on GGPoker if not enough good tables are available.

Another quick update.

I do this update right now because the goal might be reached soon. Possibly even later tonight. Did a few solid sessions that were all close to All-in Adj. So the upswing seemed to have ended. Here are the current numbers:

BR Stars: 465.64$ (+63.26$)
BR 888: 255.52$ (+29.10$)
BR GG: 244.18$ (-9.12$)

On GG, I tried a bit NL5 6max and essentially donked away 2 stacks. Overestimated how soft it would be over there. Maybe it is also stupid to play less concentrated in bad times there. Will see in the future.

Hands played NL BSS 10-20 (Stars and 888) since last time: approx. 5.7k

Overall BR changes since last post: +83.24$
Current BR: 965.34$

Seems I was a little too excited.

Actually, Pokertracker told me I did reach the 1000$ in the session directly after the post, but it went down again, and quite break-even afterwards. Hence, I do not count that. Meanwhile and afterwards, I grinded a lot on NL5 Rush 6max on GG Poker instead, and there I went down quite a bit although I received a -lot- of rakeback and bonuses. Seems I am not that good at 6max without stats. :f_cry:

So here's the current state:

BR Stars: 409.85$ (-55.79$)
BR 888: 328.82$ (+73.30$)
BR GG: 201.82$ (-42.36$)

Hands played NL BSS 10-20 (Stars and 888): 11,803

Overall BR changes since last post: -24.85$
Current BR: 940.49$

I should have called the challenge to have ended when I reached it in between :)

Since last time, I could not play so much, but went down a bit more on GG continuing to attempt to beat NL5 6max. It is ridiculous to go down that much there, but seems I have to learn a lot. I think I stop playing there for a bit.
With my regular attempts, I reached a new all-time high but then went a few stacks down. I am roughly 70$ behind EV last weekend, but still far in the plus there, and in the plus since last time.

Anyway, here are the current numbers:

BR Stars: 429.31$ (+19.46$)
BR 888: 330.01$ (+1.19$)
BR GG: 180.51$ (-21.31$)

Hands played NL BSS 10-20 (Stars and 888): 12,275

Overall BR changes since last post: -0.66$
Current BR: 939.83$

Nice work. You still have a bit until you reach the $1000 but I reckon you will get there in the next couple of weeks. :f_thumbsup:

I wouldn't focus too much on the $1000 as I would solely focus on making the right decisions. No doubt you'll get there and beyond :f_thumbsup:

Another really quick update since I am still a little busy and could not play much: 17k hands since last time. These are mostly distributed in three longer late night sessions of around 6-7 hours. Two of them started very well, but concentration and BR went down then. A big leak to avoid although I thought it was +EV since there were many fishes.
In the future, I'll stop when I find concentration going down massively. It does not make sense to try to maximize the number of hands when concentration goes off.

Again, I reached >1000$ at some point in between, but fell down again. I'll call this challenge, however, only if I clearly stay above it. I also found myself being unconcentrated because of a lot of work stuff going on, so I do not consistently play my A game these days.

Since the last graph is a little bit ago, here's an update on the total graph. See the peak at 1,023$ winnings (NL FR) lately.

Spoiler

Here are the current numbers:

BR Stars: 464.96$ (+35.65$)
BR 888: 291.43$ (-38.58$)
BR GG: 173.55$ (-6.96$)

Hands played NL BSS 10-20 (Stars and 888): 17,203

Overall BR changes since last post: -9.89$
Current BR: 929.94$

Do you play regular or fast tables? Because 17k hands in a 18-20 hr period is quite a lot.

Congrats to your BR progress. :f_drink:

Thanks, Berliner1982, in particular for the BR progress. It has become quite slow lately though, as you can see in the graph. I kind of understand the leaks that I developed lately, however.

Also good luck to your NL BSS challenge. Let's avoid each other. :f_drink:

I play regular 9max tables, currently multitabling up to 8-10 tables. On top of the three mentioned sessions there were a few short sessions. I looked it up for you: the total number of hours for the 17k hands was 27 hours.

Since I play 6-max Fast tables right now (later when I have 30-40 Stacks on NL10) I will play the regulars. So for now we should not meet.

After a long time, here is another update.

I kind of stopped playing since I got busy. I only play very occasionally on the weekends. However, the goal was reached a few times, then it got down a few times again, but now it is quite stable above the goal.

Here are the current numbers:
BR Stars: 387.80$ (-77.11$)
BR 888: 429.76$ (+138.33$)
BR GG: 217.61$ (+44.06$)

And here's a long term graph:

Spoiler

Note that the very last changes happened over months.

I guess I do call the challenge as won when I first reached the 1000$ from the 37.52$, which was in January.

The plan is to keep going whenever I have time and find it not stressful. If I get a little less busy, I might set a new goal, but can't see it happening at the moment.

Nice to see you reached your goal! I also had to take some time off, can't go grinding it out every day for cents right :f_biggrin:
I'm sure you'll be back someday and maybe continue the journey to the next goal.

Come find me when you're back and we can talk poker again :f_thumbsup:
