PLO25 QQ53ss, turn set into bluff?

One club blocker
no straight blockers (unless you count the 5)

Options:
 bet/fold (recommended usually, but this is Omaha, so ???)
 check/call
check/fold

The check OTT is suspicious, so I think I would check, and call if opponent bets half pot or less, fold otherwise

@VorpalF2F I don´t think check-fold the flop is an option, top-set has too much value.

:Jx::Tx: is such a frequently played hand and with 3 players otf I don´t think this is a pure bluff.
Maybe stacked blockers like A♣::Jx::Jx:.. but that is barely enough to make a stand on bad future shifts.

In river scenarios quality of our SDV is not as important as the framework and the qualities of our blockers to check-call or bet. We rarely bet if we have SDV and the 5♣: is not that valueable. With the flush on the board we should have enough hands in our flop calling+turn checking range to defend a lot of hands otr so I don´t see any point in investing more money if we have no flush nor nutblocker. You might check-call a bet if you are sure villain is maniacal but with thin history I think check-folding is standard here.

Sets and straights on boards with made flushes kill me, so I tend to be overcautious in those spots.

Yeah we should continue cautiously but if it is just a flushdraw we have to invest 1 bet at least. It can be correct to fold a set on the turn though. Also top-set usually has clean outs to a "nuts" fullhouse guarantueed.

Yeah 5♣: can be too weak of blocker. But reason I turned my hand into bluff on river is that QQ is actually close to bottom of my range. I will have of course some blocker type hands betting flop but I would fold those to pot raise always. So when I continue versus raise my range contain:

- Straights (I dont 3bet many of these being so deep)
- Top set (this combo might actually be bit weak to bet flop having no straight blocker or side equity)
- Weaker sets with strong support (mainly flush draw)
- Some top two with support like KQJ9 likely with one club or bd fd.

So when turn complete flush lot of my continuation range will improve. Also I think some of those KQJ9 type with club blocker can work better as bluff catcher as we also block straight making it bit more likely villain needs to bluff river.

This is the exact spot where opponent hero calls you with 99JJ and has to rethink his whole existence.

I'd probably check the flop. since this board tends to hit CO's range harder than ours.

I dont like the flop lead without NFB or straightblocker. -> x/c flop.

as played I see why hero is turning this hand into a bluff but overall when villain checks back OTT I see him calling down/pot controlling fairly often

so overall a x/call flop, giveup rest is way cheaper imo
