How can pairs 8's-J's occuring 13 times in a afternoons play plus JQ, KQ, AJ
6 -8 times lose everytime., this was my experience today and often on other daystoo. The starting hands per the chart don't seem to occur often enough to keep one in a tourney, and then ofcourse they do not win often enough either, anyway that is my experience, I try to play as strictly as possible adhering to the charts, but the guys that play unlisted hands seem to accumulate the chips.
Whereas blackjack if you win you win and if you use a recognised system
like I do it works

I doubt that buddy. Poker has more bad beats than good beats , when you have a bad beat , you are usually out of the game, but if you have a good beat , you may improve positon but usually you wont get to the front end of the pack.

the thing is tournament poker is mainly luck isnt it, so you cant moan one minute when u get a bad beat but forget the times you flopped a set and managed to win someones stack (flopping a set = lucky).
If you want to use your skill in this game then play cash games.
You are obviously a sarcastic little jerk , I however have the hand histories to support what I say. And in fact I do make way more money at black jack
than poker . And besides I have won a few tournies and cashed many times , this however does'nt alter the fact that poker is heavily dependant on luck , keeping in mind tha luck comes in many forms. Skill and study only helps one upto a point.The only reason I play poker is because I enjoy tournies , its as simple as that.
Oh yeah, poker is rigged. You not managing to cash in a tourney is a good enough evidence. If I was you, I'd sue the pokersite.

The only thing i will say is about Blackjack and Poker.
Blackjack is a game played against the house and not against real players. And the house play by rules which are devised to be hard to beat. And in fact casinos make a profit on blackjack so they must work.
However Poker is a game played against real people. You make money in poker when someone else makes a mistake and in general a lot of people make a mistake.
So in my opinion poker is more skill based than blackjack

You are 100% correct Jack. I got a system for Black J though which seems to work , I got it free on the internet
More or less double your money in 1 hour , a very conservative system.
Yes but are you sure this system works in the long run?
And i mean after 100,000 hands? You can only measure games that depend on luck over long periods of time.

Since Black Jack is a game in which a player plays against the house it is also one in which you can only win through luck, or short-term variance working in your favour. Any casino offering a version of Black Jack that was truly beatable over a long run would quickly go broke if it wasn't this way. That is why card counting is forbidden in live Casinos (an old fashioned way in which to beat Black Jack in Brick and Mortar casinos).
Since online Black Jack casinos use algorithms for shuffling and therefore don't have decks that run hot or cold it is also impossible to have an edge in online Black Jack (the part that made it beatable in live games). Even if you say you found an internet Strategy, you are currently only seeing the effects of short term variance swinging in your direction.
Poker on the other hand is not played against the house, but against other players. While it has a luck component that has an effect on your short term results - the good player will always be the longterm winner. Since the house does not profit from you losing or winning (they profit regardless of who wins, since they take the fee before the tournament even starts) its certainly not a "con" either - as you ask in the title.
Poker is a game of small edges - in which your proficiency at it shown over a large sample size. The MTT so tournament format is the format in which the most variance is involved - so the most perceived 'luck' since the fields are so large - and good play can only bring you so far.

basically you play with 1% of your bank roll. The stats from the place I got it have bigger stats than 100000 hands. Remember with BJ if you are dealt a winning hand you win nothing can change that. In poker premium hands often go bust but in BJ (no pun intended ) they win . But poker is more fun BJ is work.

once when i was having a bad session at poker i played some blackjack to relax. won about 60 bucks in a few minutes then i quit.
imo this is proof that you can make around $400/hr at blackjack.
