Well I would say flop is ok for our range as we will have some combos hitting really strong but also good amount of misses with AA and such. So I would cbet decent amount on this flop. If it was bit lower like 987 or smaller I would check most of time.
With 8899 I would start with check and call to half pot. If he pots we can probably even fold. Versus big bet 88 blocker value is less valuable and same can be said about our oesd. Also bottom set is bit tricky in these spots as hitting boat can have some negative implieds.
So anyway I would approach this hand as mediocre one and aim to keep pot smaller.

seriously though, ingame I felt a bit on the weak side. I mean checking is cool, wasnt expecting a potbet and didnt gave myself enough equity to stack off here overall. I expect to have arounng 35%, maybe with the extra 5% of a 2nd BDFD I can pick an alternative line here?
Sry but this is not a flop where hero can lead.. 
Solver checks 96% and leads 4% with a 33% sizing which simplifies to checking 100%. Checking straight flops oop is the most basic thing you learn from solver.
Flop check-call usually but against that weirdo bet I think folding is fine. He obv. has straight and likely it´s a bet-sizing tell. Because to balance this he´d have to bluff pot aswell, pretty suicidal and easy to counter.

You definitely don't have equity to stack off on flop. But even for call issue is that 88 is not that relevant blockers and 99 is only drawing for weak boat.
Even with two bdfd I would like to fold flop versus pot size bet when we are deep stacked. Issue is we cannot really value bet 9 high flush. Of course it will work as chance to win pot when villain check but value from those is quite small.
Well sure low to mid straight flops but I would think this is high enough to make some cbetting for our 3betting range. Dont have subscription currently to check in trainer.

Check for sure, as there is just one out that we are happy to see on the turn. Pot from opponent is a bit weird, but if we call it sucks to play the turn. If it's blank and opponent fires again, are we just calling down? If turn is J or T, do we call? It might be that opponent has 2 pairs or something that he wants to protect versus assumed AA, or it's KQ and he is just excited. Or it's a bluff. The thing is that I wouldn't want to stack off 200bb deep with this hand, and with call the pot will get big unless we call flop and fold turn. So versus pot bet I would like to see a fold. Often it's just not easy to fold a set+oesd in 3bet pot.
