We´re making progress ...
and I have to say: I´m quite happy with my game today. I started to mark the loose Callers, those Villains, who don´t understand the concept of SnG and Bubble play, so that I can adjust my range to their (super loose) calling range. Altogether I perceived my todays session as pretty unlucky, either (correctly) jamming into monsters (AJ into KK and 77 into TT for expample) or the hands just didn´t survive the all-in. 
I would guess, we lost a bit, but can´t tell exactly. Could win 2 SnGs, make 2 second places and a couple of third places. Bubbled also a couple of times. As we don´t worry about short term results, let´s look at a hand (which I think I played poorly), shall we?

The whole concept
I think I should write down why I opened this new blog and what my concepts and goals are. Even though I´m a recreational player, I realized that I need a concept and some goals in everything I do. At work and at home, I have my daily To-Do-lists, so why not in poker as well? Interestingly, I figured out my concept from tennis may be suitable for poker as well. ♠_biggrin: Whenever I enter the tennis court, whenever I compete, I always come with the attitude "I will play tennis with the maximum quality possible", no matter what happens! If Villainesse is better than I am and beats me: So be it! As long as I played my A-tennis, there´s nothing to worry about.
I now apply the same concept at the SnG tables. The focus lies on ICM/FGS, correct play, volume, consistency and last but not least FUN!
This is the reason why I do not look at my BR after every session, do not take part in the BR challenge, actually, I have my balance on Party and Stars hidden. It´s the long-term results that count. But of course I will report, how my BR progresses (or not). Decided to post a graph or a BR-report monthly, at the last day of every month.
Being a recreational player also doesn´t mean that I don´t have to set some goals. My long term goal is to climb up to the 5 $ (or 5.50 $) SnGs again and beat them on the long run. But until then we will focus on the correct decisions, ICM, correct post-flop play and of course a decent and stable mental game. The latter should come from the concept I explained above. My mid-term goals are of course getting the push-fold-ranges right, get the call ranges right and have a solid bubble play. Focussing on those aspects should not only help with the mental game but also with my game at the tables.
At the moment, there is nothing to worry about the BR, cause got more than enough for the 0,5 $ and 1 (1.10) $ limits. Got the BR for the 5 (5.50) $ limits already, but not the knowledge, everything is still a bit rusty.
The short-term goals are just the "To Dos" per session: at least 20 SnGs OR 2 hours CG with the maximum quality possible!
So, that´s my concept for my brandnew and fresh start at the tables. ♠_smile:

It's probably not worth it just to get ICM Trainer going, especially if it's just the light version. Didn't that one only include a bunch of fixed scenarios? You should already be on a level of play where you don't really need them, except maybe as a one-time refresher, but nothing big.
Isn't this a poker school? Why not suggest a 2023 version?

I heard ICM as a concept in general is outdated by now. Not sure.
well my thought for doing it in german is that there are lots of english streamers but not so much german ones. But if you ask me I like the english community much better to. Some germans are pretty mean on pokerstrategy. Nevertheless I am coach for the german community and I like the game. Haters will always hate.

well I think I let it go pre. Offsuited gapper play shitty oop. As played its also ok to fold flop because of the reverse implieds. Its not bad that you called that one down but you will get lots of lots of lots better spots for sure. In micros you have to play a little boring. Just play good hands. play big valuebets. overfold to big bets yourself. Poeple tend to underbluff a ton.

You´re right. In those limits I have to play a bit of a "boring ABC poker" 
♠_ugly: I was actually thinking of folding that hand pre, then I saw that the pot-odds were fine and thought: Ok, I get a good price. Postflop I underestimated the reverse implied, because I held a blocker, but forgot that in those limits Villains tend to play any 2 suiteds.
By the way: Did a squeeze play with 33 on the Bubble today (me in the BB with 11 BBs versus Hijack minraise and SB call). Got called with K6s Lost that flip but duly noted that Villain.

I´m 100 % with Nazgos! The German community is full of what we Germans would call "Asis" (rough translation: "asocial people who cannot behave themselves"). Didn´t perceive the German community as friendly either, but on a pretty "low level", so to speak. :rage::facepalm:
A Cayenne pepper representing my SnG skills
Look at this gorgeous little Cayenne. Just noticed it today.
Was not sure if I should plant Cayenne this year or not, I collected some seeds from my Cayenne plant last year. The peppers had turned out, however, super hot, maybe due to the hot summer last year? Don´t know. But they were brutally hot! Anyway, decided to plant Cayenne anyway, let´s see if the seeds germinate and in deed: they do! ♠_love: It´s like me in poker: Let´s see if my SnG-seed germinates and it did! ♠_wink: It´s still just a tiny little baby plant, like this Cayenne, but the peppers will become super hot! ♠_biggrin:♠_ugly:

Have to say from memory that I had a few DE folks in my streaming community who were all very positive and kind.
That said, I remember DE PokerStratigests were a bunch of trolls back when this forum was insanely popular and when I was an admin.
As soon as they'd win a big soccer game vs England they'd congregate here in EN and throw shade.
Very few actual English people were active so they were mostly wasting their time which made it more fun lol
