It looks like the number of players is pretty stable with some high peaks on most likely Sundays.

How do you guys find out how many players participated?

It is a guesstimate.
I keep track of what the jackpot is each time I play.
The estimate assumes that people that play only play once each 12 hours, and only play 7 starscoin at a time.
It also assumes that all the money goes into the jackpot.

So if the jackpot increases by $700 in 12 hours, and 7 starscoin is the equivalent of 7 cents then 10,000 people played.
If people plays multiple times, or if people play 70 coins at a time, then it is all wrong.
Although people play 7 starscoin at a time, there are smaller prizes, and currently my average payout is 4.7 starscoin — and assuming my average is similar to everyone else's, I use that number in the calculation.

A little wishful thinking there?

I had thought that the jackpot would begin increasing more rapidly, however that doesn't seem to be the case.

Not a lot happening lately — I've seen no spins, and play rates have fallen off considerably — yesterday the JP only increased by $1500.

It's now weekend. I expect now the jackpot is growing harder.

We'll see — especially since this is the Sunday Storm Anniversary

Well, yeah, there was a bit of a spike today, but overall the increase is less than 2000 per day

I see. The jackpot is almost 500k already.

I made my first play on Nov 15 last year.
At that time the JP was 209073, so the average daily jackpot increase over all that time is 1856 so expect the JP to hit 500K in around 5 days

I swapped the axes and added gridlines, and made it so Sunday is the major division of the horizontal axis. A complete waste of time, but I did learn something about graphs...

So jackpot is over 500k. That must be a record for sure.

Earlier in this thread someone reported that it had once reached 574K.
at our current rate, we'll pass that in 25 days or so.
