SB: 103.12 BB
BB: 149.52 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has K♠ K♣

fold, Hero raises to 2 BB, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 1 BB

Flop: (4.4 BB, 2 players) 2♣ J♣ Q♠
BB checks, Hero bets 1.56 BB, BB raises to 10 BB, Hero calls 8.44 BB

Turn: (24.4 BB, 2 players) 2♥
BB bets 17 BB, Hero calls 17 BB

River: (58.4 BB, 2 players) 5♥
BB bets 38 BB, Hero ? ?

The villain is an unknown player.

I don't think I need modify the bold lettering because we know that we are calling.

The question is, should we raise all in on river?

Thoughts?

Yep. There is a point of raising the river. QJ is counterfeited now and will call you a raise. But you are against unknown as well. Less variance approach seems more preferable to me. So i am gonna just call

yea i like a all in jam on river, All draws miss, and i would expect a 3bet pre if V had JJ or QQ, but some ppl do play really passive. I am the opposite as Napoleon, i like the higher variance, as it makes it easier to get your monster hands paid off.,

I am opposite, but I am a losing player. I just call the river bet.

I'm still struggling with blockers, that Kc, removes one of villains combos draws, KcTc so is that good or bad for range we give villain to do this with? Does my question even make sense?

you want want calls from Qj, AQ KQ,.. these are the hands you are targeting to get a call from.

the K club blocks lots of hands, AKc, KQc KJc, k10c K9c it blocks quite a bit of all his club draws. but then he can have q10c q9c AQc A10c A9c. but then again he also isnt 3 betting some of these hands as well..

Yeah me too. But dont want to be reckless either. I like to know my opponent as well and here we are up against unknown one. First info and then we can profitably "higher" the variance :f_drink:

I would go all in as its hard to see many hands that beats pocket Kings there. Also turn is so bad card for villain range that I suspect he is weaker player after betting , this is another reason to jam.

Add me to the jam-river-club. QQ/JJ are likely to 3-bet pre. He has one combo of 22, maybe J2s/Q2s, but that's it. Hope he hero-calls Qx or Jx.

I did think that V's range seemed faceup specifically as QJ but I chose not raise because I didn't think that shove gets called, I could be wrong though, and I wanted to see it. Oh, and V chatted after like he feared AA/KK, and threw up an Emoji.

Edit: added info

3x it pre you won't get exploited :)

I don't mind checking back flop. But betting is also fine.

As played, pocket 2's are the only hand we're really losing too here. There's also lots of busted draws that villain may think we represent after a shove.
