4bet pot review

You took the risk with the k9 calling , what is your thought on turn when you name 2 pair? Why not a medium raise like 42bb or something like this.. if you say his 3 bet is 20% so he is wide, I think you need to take advantage of this. Yes you may get burnt some times and he has pocket Kings. But on turn if he has AK or KQ or AA- you are money, and want to get it all in.. IMO

That maybe the lag made a straight? Yeah, too narrow, I think. Surely, I should raise this turn, like you say.

Okay, but that's not the only thing, I did think about keeping lag's bluff in tact also.

Fold to 4bet% could be interesting to on a reasonable sample.
I don't expect a king would help villain to often on the turn. AK and AA would go broke pre-flop.
KQ is possible, but tough to play out of position in a 4bet pot.

I think calling turn is reasonable to try to let villain bluff on you. Sometimes villain could have a straight. Flush draw is off course possible, but not sure villain would semi bluff those hands.

A lag like this is not going to be folding to 4bet often, as I understand it.

So, my thinking here is that I'm actually 4betting the lag for value.

I think you played well preflop and flop but on turn I would definitely shove this. He uses bigger sizing which should encourage you to fast play and there are ton of draws.

No, you are not. Its just too weak hand because you are so often dominated. IMHO to this sizing preflop K9s has no incentive to bluff with 4bet. 100% flat and play position. I think I would just shift my 4bet bluffs to something like K5s-K7s.

I think I did too much leveling preflop, just maybe. If I know the lag is going to call then why should I 4bet pre, I guess. Flatting the 3bet probably is better. Although I did feel that I was still ahead of his wide 3bet range often. And then it goes back to the matter of position. So flat 3bet pre is fine.

Question is not if you are ahead of his wide 3bet but if you are ahead against range that calls your 4bet.
