I would most likely bet the flop. if villain has nothing it's to bad I think.
On the turn it will be tough to get to much value with raising.
Only 88 gets there and most over pairs would continue on the flop.

On the river I would most likely bet smaller. I expect villain hasn't to much. Around half pot is big enough.
All decent hands would most likely play differently and it's not likely villain has a flush as well.

I will use small bet OTF, Ax still can call, even something like K♥:Q♣:... and then big bets , lets say 80% turn and river...Preflop fold imo...66 will the min for me, without an info for the blinds and good info for the reg, I will fold this as well and call with 88...As played , I will call OTT and 80% on the river...I don't hate the over bet...I use over bets often as well. It's way better than a pot size bet...Better results...

yea- think you need to bet flop, I know it is hard, but if you call preflop and hit a set like you did, we need to try and find a way to get all the money in, Hard i know, and with this run out. I think i would try to bet big on flop and hope a heart comes and villain is on heart draw or holds Ace of hearts or king of hearts. So then on turn i be betting big again.. and so forth on the river, IMO..

The reg played KK weird because this is a type of flop where KK should cbet. Of course, if he did then he would've been stacked but nevertheless still not GTO.

GTO unfortunately isn’t always the way to go. It is just a help to understand the game better. GTO is when you are playing another villain that is also trying to play GTO / balance poker. GTO helps when finding out villains exploits

That being said GTO is a starting spot- you will most likely make more money with an exploitative strategy, at certain stakes.

A lot of spots in SRP as aggressor OOP you can simplify to range check on flop. Solvers dont like cbetting a lot against condensed BU flatting range. In majority of spots you will see less than 25% cbet frequency which means you dont lose a lot by checking everything. Also people dont know your strategy so its likely they will overstab and dont checkback enough strong hands and you can easily punish them by check/raising and putting something like 88 in very uncomfortable spot.

Absolutely. Maybe not always but very big portion of the time. It's because this line will look more bluffy in the eyes of your opponent. So that way you extract value and keep his entire range in the hand as well
