Hello, i`m not sure about the river. Villain is reg, i believe this board is underbluffed and on the river i`m bluf catching. I believe we both have flushes in our ranges. As his bluffs I guess AdQx and probably AdJx. Also is he triple barelling set of kings here, i guess probably?

I don't play NL 100 a lot, however I would be inclined to fold to such a large squeeze bet.
IIRC you hit a set once in 20 times, so you need to recover 20 times the call amount.
in this case, you are being asked to call 23 more €, so you would need to be €460 deep for this to be a profitable call.
Some people use 15 instead of 20 to account for the bluffs in BBs range, but still not enough in the stacks.
Finally, of all the sets you could have hit, this is pretty much the wurst.
If I hadn't folded pre (and I'm pretty sure I would have) I would fold the flop.

I'd like to hear from NL 100 experts though.

Cheers,
VS

Well, Sb is fish and they squeeze very wide because of that to isolate him, so bb range is pretty wide.

A "wide squeeze " is not in your favor. It's bad as "tight squeeze". The price is too high. For this stupid hand...

I'm leaning toward fold preflop due to fact that fish is very short. I dont mind calling though. As for postflop - no way I'm folding set in 3bet pot. He can bluff with AQ/AJ, he can also shove for value with AdKx or AA... If it is ever mistake to call set then its minor, like close to 0EV, but usually fold will be big punt that costs you double digit amount of bb in long run.

It's around 12% of the time to hit a set on the flop, but based on the 'call20' it's only profitable to call for set value with a effective stack of 20 times the amount you need to call. That's in this situation not the case. Without resds I would fold pre-flop. Especially with the short SB the BB shouldn't 3bet to light with in mind the SB need to call his/her entire stack now.

River is indeed tricky, but without a flush blocker it's hard to call.

I know about this "rule" and it sucks. "Call20"...It's for "very" beginners...Depends on the player or players...You can fold vs 2% , you can call vs 10% (from your stack)...

You are quite correct, as is SDK1987 when he says that you hit a set on the flop 12% of the time.
OP says his opponent is a "reg" — whatever that means.

Are you actually suggesting that this is a call pre-flop?

In the long run whether you play against idiots or experts, if you make plays that are against the odds, you will lose in the long run, and the longer you play against the odds, the more you will lose.

About the other things...Well, the pocket pairs have very impressive equity..Those are "made hands"..if the players are very weak, or you have info, or reads, notes , I don't know, 'whatever", something, if you think you can realize a lot of equity vs this guy (or guys), nothing wrong to make an "illegal" call with PP. Why not!? It's not only "calling for set"...You have hand already..A pair...Maybe the guy is honest, a nit...The situations are very different. And yes, will be dumb to call vs UtG with 33 for example, even if you have 150bb and he OR only 2.5x...But you can call vs some calling station, some nit...vs bigger raise, worse price...

@Vorpal, he is calling here, because SB will be All in and probably BB is not so happy to bluff in this situation. At least OTF...You said "I prefer fold OTF"..Is that correct? I think you should play some other formats. It's more fun and the players are very weak. And it's not so much difficult to learn the game...No offense, mate...I did play a lot of other formats. I think OFCP is the best, if we talk about "fun"...NL Hold em is suitable for pro play, because you can play at many tables, good $/hour. The other formats have some problems, it's not so easy to play at many tables. Also the rake..And the traffic...But they are way better than Hold em. More fun... They are not boring..

As played, this is a call. And I don't care if I go broke here.
