Tough spot here. His check means check/fold or some underpair who doesnt like AA on the board. I expect V to start from the flop if he is on a bluff. But seeing what monkeys you play against i probably go broke here.

Well, you can't fold because if the villain has +JJ, yes, you will lose the hand but you will win BBJP probably worth around $1,500 to $2,000. AAATT vs AAA+JJ triggers BBJP but the participants must use both their hole cards meaning it's almost always TT vs +JJ on AAAxx boards.

Oh wait, so you call in this spot with TT always just in case?

Yup
and if you're in line for a big hand jackpot, you never run it twice.
Unless they changed the rules since I last played there

You can run it more than once but only the first board counts towards BBJP.

Is this only for rush cash? Cause in same spot I had JJ and my opponent had QQ and nothing triggered. I rarely run it twice.

Was the board AAAxx? Both participants must use both their hole cards in order for the BBJP to trigger. AAATT vs AAAJJ or AAAQQ or AAAKK. Another way is to have any PP that are quads vs quads.

I didn't win BBJP here.

BB shows 9♦ 9♥ (Full House, Aces full of Nines)
(Pre 18%, Flop 8%, Turn 5%)
Hero shows T♦ T♠ (Full House, Aces full of Tens)
(Pre 82%, Flop 92%, Turn 95%)
Hero wins 160.56 BB

If the villain had JJ then I would've won the ongoing BBJP in this hand because it satisfies all requirements.

When you get into these spots while holding TT then you WANT to lose the pot to higher OP because you can see the AAAxx board. AAAxx boards in GGP are super rare.

If opponent had A with kicker lower than 6 in this hand would BBJP still trigger?

No, because 6 in the hole cards is not in play, so that would be AAAA6 vs AAATT, but not all hole cards are being used. I think I had that hand before, what you are talking about, and I did not win the BBJP. Something like it anyway happened to me, and I myself studied it later.

That can't be right because that does qualify for BBJP. Post it here. I wanna see it.

Listen, here's the thing... If you can't hit the jackpot in your first half month at the room, then you are the sucker. Guys around here will tell ya, we play for a living. It's like every other job. You don't gamble, you grind the jackpot out. Your goal is to win 1 big jackpot a month. That's it! Get your money in when you have the worst of it, protect it when you don't. Don't give anything away!

It's sad but true. lol

I myself have been recipient of BBJP in some form whether winner, giver, or participant eight times, and won $3,760.05 total over 336k hands at GGP.

The reason for this is that, there are a lot less winning regs at GGP than PS. Like, way way way less. This fact has been studied and verified before. Why? I think it's because of the higher rake at GGP when compared to PS. But at the same time, because of the higher rake we have BBJP.

Is the amount taken for the BBJP a known amount?
In the past rooms that had BBJP tables had a smaller, separate amount taken out of each pot.
One such room it was a flat amount, but I don't remember what that room was.

Yes, GGP take money for the BBJP which is separate from money for the rake.
