At the current slightly-increased rate that should take about 11 days

Maybe the end of the SCOOP has a decent influence on this.

That's to bad, but a nice flush to get at least 100 coins

Very nice

In the 398 times I have played since November, the best I have hit is a straight — and that only once.

        Hand  Frequency
      2 pair         23
      1 pair        188
    Ace-High         80
     Nothing         97
 3 of a kind          9
    Straight          1
       Total        398

At the moment, yes.
However, more people are playing now, so the payout will be even worse — unless I get some better results.
On the 31st I got trips twice in a row, so the situation could improve as well.

That's not to bad, but for you it would be better if the jackpot burst on between Monday and Friday. Than less people are playing.

It looks like there was a spin at 05:37 UTC today.
Jackpot is still intact though...

Another apparent spin at 06:06 on 2023-o5-05
No details, and that is two in a row at the same time.
False alarm maybe?

I guess so. It's interesting that you saw a few jackpot attempts.
Maybe it will slowdown now when less players are playing.

Interestingly, the spike was not on Sunday this week.

That's weird for sure. Off course the SCOOP was finished and that could be a reason off less action.

Close call indeed, but yeah 1k as reward sn't to bad. Off coure if he/she had won it was more than 300k reward. Than you can buy a decent house.

I had a conversation with a developer last night.
According to him, the problem is supply and demand.
This article from last year supports his hypotheses: https://www.cmhc-schl.gc.ca/en/blog/2022/canadas-housing-supply-shortage-restoring-affordability-2030
The problem is most acute in the three major cities.
