I didn't know he was one until after the squeeze.

Witch means that before the showdown he is unknown to you. Witch makes it hard to define what his bets means. Induce or blockbet. I am going to play same as you. Raise OTF (slightly bigger size) and cheap showdown seems fine to me with a hand like yours.

I would honestly raise the turn facing this goofy bet sizing. He is not inducing

That's a decent over play with top pair and not a great kicker with J9o. I would fold J9o pre-flop against a big 3bet.
