Stupid Kings! Why is there an Ace on the flop? I forgot there is always an ace on the flop! Except when villain has KK vs my Ace rag! How does he calls alls his chips with Ace rag anyway. And to slap me in the chops, I bust out with Ace rags vs, you guessed it, KK! Although I've an excuse that I has only 3BB to put in, not 20-bloody-3!

Is there any getting away from this? I beens playings nice and tight, around 400 folks with 2BB or less, hyper blinds so it's close to the money if you discount that 400 (700-ish places paid, although I needed 200th-ish to recoup my $1 topup back) and then this happens.

I finished ITM, but still down 40 cents 😄

Why certainly. Fold KK pre-flop when opponent has an A, since you already know an Ace will come OTF when you hold KK

It's my second hand. Note that both draw 2. It is so common for BTN to open v wide, and BB now has decent odds. 7,2 blocks 7 of the nine combos needed to make a wheel.

There are only 4080 7-low hands. Taking away two wheel cards reduces that number to 576.
So yeah, with 7,2 I limp/call prior to BTN, or from btn onwards I raise/call
Vs open raises before me, I flat only with 3 wheel cards.

This is from me though — I would suggest comparing it to one of the lowball experts.

Got fed up with these chumps shoving on me every bloody decent hand I got, so thought this squeeze play with middle pair from the blinds was a good time to throw it back at them. Did not expect a caller, even less with what they called with!!!😮😂5♦3♦. This seems to be the theme for today, any two suited! At least this time it's also connectors... I guess he thought I was squeezing with some form of broadway hand? 😕❓️

However, it is a perfect example of how to play short-stacked.

Yes We where very near the bubble in that MTT when I got the quads, hence the short stacks - I was the biggest stack at our table until I was on the recieving end of a bad beat from one of them all-in chumps. IIRC it was pair vs pair and I had the smaller one, neither improved and my stack got chomped. A 2 or 3 orbits later (so blinds and antes had eaten some away) I got that above hand.

So, first hand, I'm big blind and everyone else has folded before the table had even fully rendered, and I get K♦J♣, but UTG has made it 9cents. Arrgh! Who played with my chip display? It is 7cents for me to call. A quick click and I'm back in familiar territory. I have 99bb, that's better, and it's 3.5bb to call, so I call.

I flop a straight draw on an Ace high rainbow board. UTG leads out with a pot sized bet. I fold.

I want something good for my first proper hand, and see Q♦3♣, next, J♣7♦ nah, next!

4th hand, it's P.A.R.T.why? Cos I gotta!

- What are they drawing to that beats me? AA already beats me. Nobody has that. I'm sure. Fairly sure? No, I'm sure. As does 77, which is probably more likely than AA.
- KK could still hit, but if AA is unlikely then so is KK.
- And what's likely? A flush draw and one of them's maybe, no, definately, hit that ace. Cha chingaI

I got AQ, missed the flop and folded. I cannot even remember hand number 6 because I was too busy trying to find the 'Sit Out' option so I could post here. Still cannot find this option! I left the game, cashing out $5.68, for a very profitable few minutes. If I'd managed to 'Sit Out' I would still have been playing. Their loss!

Answering my own question, in case it helps - click your avatar! There is a sit out button there. I know, not as intuitive as being in the hamburger dropdown menu, but it's there at least.
