Omaha clicking, Project 2026

Lucky spot today interestingly from technical side. I dont have first hand as it was not saved in client apparently. Anyway I went allin with mid set on flop in one table and got called. So I saw villain hand but then nothing happened. At same time I had put pot sizing on another table to go for squeeze with AAKT and clicked raise button.

This was the spot:

So what happened was that I managed to shove mid set and won that pot but my squeeze didnt happen as connection was cut. Neither of these players would have folded preflop and probably I would have pot cbet this flop. BU definitely would not have folded his wrap+2 bdfd. So I potentially saved around 140bb.

Yeah its not great spot but when villain check in position it will decrease 89 combos somewhat at least. I do also block nut straight on river with T and villain might not value bet weaker straight.

Got lucky today in nice spot. Well this is why I dont usually cbet with non nut trips with pocket pair in these spots. Player behind me was super passive though so went for it. But I also block overpairs and fd so getting value is tough and if x-r comes from deeper stack player we get into very bad spot. I went with my hand but not really sure. I were thinking AJ is bit less likely as villain just completed pre and I dont block nfd which is most likely semibluff. But yeah nice to be once in a blue moon the guy hitting 4 outer on river ♦

As default line I pretty much check close to whole range in these sort of low flops in SBvsBB as BB just has so much more those low cards if defending decently wide. Villain could have 3bet decent KK quite easily pre here which would have saved his stack this time. As played I would probably fold on turn in his shoes. A5 is decent part of my value range. But luckily he was sticky.

But yeah that preflop passiveness makes this open of mine reasonable imo.

PS: Didn't even notice he was ds with his KK when I posted this. I meant that even as ss to K it would be 3bet. As ds it's absurd to not 3bet...

If his 3bet range is AAxx, that's just not in that range.

Rough session today. I had more than couple 3bet pots where I had most of time overpair. Sometimes with support as well. Thing was that flops came like Q62 or K43 etc. so classic spots where our range wants to pot a lot of time. But issue was I were running into totally absurd hands hitting two pairs. Like T543ss etc. Also lost every time.

Well luckily I got this huge pot where opponent way overplayed his hand. It would be bad play with 100bb but its super bad with 200bb:

That hand doesnt want to lead as it really doesnt want to get raised. But if he did lead with it he should use small sizing.

I were bit worried of being versus some combo hand with nfd but has to be raised. Luckily he had only one club

Well I dont think his hand is bad at all theory wise at least to call turn and call blank river. But that turn shove is sort of silly. Only positive side is getting some fd to fold but basically weaker will fold and better will call. But yeah I would not have any raising range in villain shoes. Doesn't make sense really with opponent having clear AA advantage.

I think my hand play pretty nice the way I played it. Maybe we want to use smaller flop bet as flop is on dry side even with fd available. But then again BU can have some low wraps and in SPR 4 spot its very natural to have pot range. This AA without any bd potential fall into pot range naturally.

Kind of frustrating sessions today. Played imo ok but didnt scoop pretty much any huge multiway pots even though I had like 35-45% equity in several. Tiny profit still.

This was at end of the session. One of worst desperation bluffs I have ever seen. Could only be worse combo if he had like AAKQ with nfd... Now he at least doesnt have showdown value.

Btw what you think of flop stab size? If I remember right plotrainer advocated for 1/3 pot stab in this sort of spot. I think reasoning being that it allow us to stab wider and it puts lot of usual 3betting range into nasty spot. Though this guy is 3betting lot wider as he was maniac. This time surprisingly had very good starting hand though. Well I also had reason to use small stab versus this guy as he seemed to go for x-raise really eagerly versus small bet.

Interesting sizing, I've been using 1/2 pot stabs and that seems to work well. I can see the reasoning for even the smaller sizing. Range-wise that's a pretty static board and we can always finish the job on most turns. Yeah it could put some elasticity on villains calling range. What would be your turn 2nd barrel sizing then? I would go no less than a halv pot on any turn to protect our bluffing range by increasing the pressure, my feel is something like 2/3 pot.

We want to go with sizing that allow leverage of whole stack with river bet in these low SPR spots. In this case I used 3/4 pot that creates very similar size river shove scenario. This is concept often used in holdem at least. Of course equity denial play bigger role in omaha so it's also situation dependent. Meaning if board had been bit different like T97ss I would prefer going bigger on flop and turn. That flop would be much more dynamic and better in general for 3bettor range.

Had one more of those slot bonuses of deposit 75€ to get 30 free spins. This time each spin had 0.5€ value so 15€ in total. Actual win was 18.5€ roughly so this time ROI was actually positive

Well of course it's always positive anyway with free spins but compared to nominal value.
