No, nothing — but I've been away since Aug 25th
I checked periodically on my phone, but as soon as the software loaded with out requiring an update, I knew it was "no deal"

WCOOP starts today already. It would be better for PokerStars if they had fixed it before the weekend I think.

I can't believe they gonna relaunch the same jackpot Deal now at convenient time when WCOOP is starting and with changes to the terms of service how starcoins are earned. This is full scam! Very similar to the Supernova Elite thing.

I am not gonna accept this. I already messaged Stars support but I got dismissed and given default proxy answer. They have zero respect for the customer.

Well if they are going to relaunch it, they didn't today.

Hopefully to reconsider the launch with the same jackpot at all. I did send few messages to them, it felt like they just gave default big corporate answer but hopefully they did this delay to consider etiquette

Where did you get info they were making changes?

From other poker forums whose users keep messaging PokerStars support in different ways, through Twitter, livechat, discord and email. Also not just Pokerstars.EU but .DK etc country specific PokerStars too.

So far we have heard or the rumors have been:

5-6 days ago we heard that the jackpot will relaunched where it left off on Monday 11th September and now that the jackpot has reached all time high of $750 000 it will be marketed as a fresh product and "special promo" is that every $1 of rake you pay you get 7 starcoins which PokerStars will send email to every user marketing this jackpot

On Sunday 10th someone heard on PokerStars Discord they have pushed it to Wednesday.

Nothing there yet, so rumours of 11th Sep were wide of the mark.

They might have cancelled it or moved it to Wednesday because of the backlash

Has there been a backlash to it returning?

Lots of irritation when it disappeared, but I can't imagine anyone objecting to it being restored, provided it's done so at the previous jackpot level (about $780k from memory).

There has been.

Essentially everyone knows that you are playing for the share of the 50% not the actual jackpot direct win since it's basically like a lotto, near impossible to win.

$750k jackpot once hit with the old terms of conditions, no announcements no nothing could expect at least $20 piece per person maybe even something crazy like $30-80.

Now that everyone will play the jackpot we will likely see share of $1-4. People are not pleased with this, me neither. I have played this for 10 months now, given over 2000 starcoins of my own to generate this massive jackpot. I deserve to have the jackpot I kept generating, not the one build by email marketing and that is part of WCOOP series.

For next jackpot I like the idea as well but changing the way starcoins are earned as a temporary promotion to the jackpot where people have already paid $750 000 to is just wrong.

An updated was applied, but no deal

Thanks for updating us about their Discord feed, I don't wanna access it myself.

Looks promising. I and few others have been spamming them to re-consider launching the Deal for few days now, so far their responses have been just big corporate nonsense but hope they actually listened and plan on just giving us the money and reseting the jackpot to $0. Sounds boring but it's fair!
