Meh, what a session

At least I climbed to C$0.60 in the leaderboard , but 3B/1000 hands doesnt sound good. I feel I'm best at slowly grinding for blinds, pots on the flop, but the all-in situations bummer me out. Gotta be tighter with those.

Flopping Royal Flush was nice, but didnt get much from it: https://gg.gl/ovvbd

Seems like you slowplayed royal if pot is that small on river? I think it makes good bet hand on flop as we unblock all board pairs.

Yeah, shouldve bet. Probably wouldve folded though.

Got a lesson in bankroll management. Was a bit bored of the smaller stakes and went to 0.05/0.10, $10 buyin table. Well first hand I flop top pair, nut flush draw and straight draw and lost a $10 stack. 🫣 Universe telling me to nope out of higher stakes.

Whewwo, what a rollercoaster. Had a lot of downswings. Tried bunch of other (non-bankroll-management-approved) stakes. Dropped to about $20 or so, but had a bit luck and grinded back up to $60 in $0.25/0.10 limits:

Somehow it actually felt easier to play against others who played a bit "better" and not calling everything with draws or playing supertight and having only the nuts. Dunno if there would be some merit to try to deposit a bigger bankroll and maybe trying higher limits, maybe combined with a deposit bonus at another site with a lower rake.

How about trying to get a bigger BR by winning it instead of depositing it (psss, don't tell my boss!)

Not going good. Went bust and bought in a bit more. Although a rakeback is right around the corner.

Currently at $7.

Maybe rush&cash is too chaotic. It creates the problem with tells, since people are changing at the table all the time. Maybe normal NLHE would be better?

Hey. I've been slowly grinding S&G, and it seems I can indeed turn a profit. So I'm sticking to it and taking it slow and steady. Example of todays upswing:

Back to normal grinding it is.

Yes, that looks undoable for non-tournament player. How many honeymoon missions you succeded to make? I have made now all 14 so far but 15, 23, 25, 26 and 30 will be real challenges.

I think I could have succeeded in ~28. Some were more of a grind, but others were such that you needed to be super lucky. And all the AoF challenges were a raketrap.

I guess so. I expect the variance in the rush&cash is a lot higher if you compare it with the normal formats.
