Awful play, protecting a marginal hand that could be way behind, well out of position.
Would still like to know how others would have played this hand to improve.
I have moved you're hand to our tournament hand discussion board. There fits it better.
Pre-flop is standard to isolate big with so many limpers. Not sure what kind of tournament this was, but it must be a cheap tournament or a freeroll. I don't think this happen to often in a tournament with a decent buy-in.
Anyway I would Cbet flop around 1.700 against 4 villains and re-evaluate on further action. Board is pretty dry and with 2 jacks it will be hard to get to much value I think and if the short stack shoves you want to have options to isolate if nessesary and you keep the pot under control out of position as well. If the 2nd stack on the table wants to play for stacks you can still go away.
On the turn after the call of the 2nd biggest stack on the table it will be hard to get to much value. Villain can easily have a jack and not sure what kind of weaker hands would cold call flop like this and I would try to get to a cheak showdown and fold if villain shoves on you.

Okay. Back to the NLHE board. Stack dynamic is a little bit weird for a NL10k cash game and the way everyone is playing. Than it was a play money game.
