It appears that the "One Deal ticket per day for $1 rake" has ended.
At any rate, it no longer appears in my challenges.

Can confirm.
A spin was reported at 09:54 this morning — jackpot still intact.
I'm not currently playing, and judging by the rate at which the jackpot is growing[1] , very few others are.
At that pace, should someone win, the payout would be very low — est $2.88
I'll take the time to post the current graph on Sunday night
[1] 720 in the past 12 hours.
From the time I started playing up to the point the jackpot dropped
The blue line represents the increase for each day — fairly obvious the effect that the ticket giveaway had.
I had to adjust the scales to accommodate extra increase.

Since the Jackpot dropped
I'm not playing, but I'm in the habit of recording it.

That was a insane increase a few days before the jackpot bursts, but it looks like the jackpot increased now a lot slower since the jackpot bursts. So more members waiting for investing coins for the jackpot.

I suspect that this was due to all of the tickets that were being given out
That's explains it, but is rather funny that the jackpot burst pretty fast after the technical difficulties.

There were quite a few spins during all the time the jackpot was building.
My guess is that just so many more people were playing.
My share of the jackpot was approx 30, and half the jackpot was approximately 400K — so roughly 13,000 people playing.
currently, there is an estimated 4000 players only — assuming that each player plays 1 7-coin game every 12 hours.
If people are playing more often, or playing 70-coin games, then there are even fewer
Looks like a pretty stable increase per day. A increase of 1k per day is pretty slow.

Yes. At that rate, the next 800K jackpot will be in more than 2 years!
Today at 13:08 GMT there was a spin, but the jackpot was preserved
I expect the rate will increase during the 2 years, but I'm not sure how long the time was between the 2 jackpot bursts of last time. That was more than a year as well.
Jackpot just hit at somewhere in the mid $50k level. Payout was $22.17 which confirms my gut feel that playing from the early stages isn't such a -EV move, given how many people choose to come in at the later stages.
The share for the huge jackpot was $30.98, so not a huge amount of difference this time around, and much less of a wait for it to hit.
playing every 12 hours is always +ev and by far the best value u can get for the coins
