It's very difficult to fold that kind of hand in micro PLO where average players opening and calling range is worse. In this hand BTN is a solid player and I should have folded. Turn 8♠: and BTN has A♠:A♦:T♠:8♣: eating my outs. CO had 2 small spades and one of my outs.

2 days left in September. I have been playing propably too much. 10500 hands in non fast PLO2 that give good statistics for analyzing. Lot of improvement in preflop playing and also in postflop. I think that my preflop opening and calling range is quite OK but 3bet range from BTN and CO need improvement when there are limpers and miniraisers before me. VPIP is little bit high but it's quite profitable to limp in after limpers from BTN or SB with semi-good hand. 3bet range from blinds vsSteal propably needs improvement also.

I think my biggest problem on flop is still high Cbet% 63,3 with 43% success and propably I'm folding and calling too much instead of calling or raising villains 3bet.

Any comments to my stats are highly appreciated. I can give any others stats also if somebody wants to comment them.

Difference between VPIP and PFR seems big, and 3bet bit low. Might want to focus on spots where there is an open and multiple callers, and it seems like we get great pot odds to call with wide range. The more players there are involved, the more we want to have nut potential.

3bet from blinds seems to be quite AA heavy. Don't be afraid to raise it preflop with premium hands. If you miss the flop, just give up. But you will hit them enough, and get good value when you do.

Thanks Kyyberi, very good points. I have tried to improve those already but not enough. I will add those to my October tasks.

Actually I'm 3betting from blinds premium hands but they have been very rare except AA and KK in September and in PLO2 very often only limpers before blinds.

How was the month? Targets from first post

First target: to be better than average player in micro PLO.
Probably was already before starting but now confirmed at least in PLO2 and 5. PLO10 only few hands

2nd: to get more out from HM
In good progress. Basic HUD stats like VPIP, PFR, 3bet and flop Cbet give good support for betting/folding decisions. After each session I have analyzed some hands and in the evening whole day. Needs still lot of learning.

First financial target: to beat the rake in September 2023 in non-fast micro PLO.
Done:s_drink:

Of course winnings/h is ridiculous in PLO2 but not so bad in PLO5. Generally I'm satisfied with the targed reached and I have learned a lot.

Now I make game plan and targets for October.

Waiting tracked points from yesterday to see if I succeed to maintain my gold status. 465.62 now visible and if HM3 reported rake correctly I should get 10+25 from yesterday.

October 2023 game plan

Mainly PLO5 fast and normal. Sometimes PLO10
PLO4€ in Unibet to have some experience about playing without HUD and stats. I have already account in Unibet, made small deposit and played few hundred hands to get tracking working with PS. Now waiting the €200 bonus offer to be available.
Looking to join one new site, preferably with tracking to PS and possible winnings taxfree in Finland and at least stats to HM3. Unfortunately couldn’t find any yet (I have already Pokerstars.eu and Party). Any recommendations?

Financial target same as in September.

Main tasks:
Improve VPIP/PFR relation, 3bet% and decrease flop Cbet%
Playing without HUD and stats
To get more out from HM3
Play less, win more
Probably will add some more during month.

At low stakes (PLO2, PLO5) you often find yourself in tables where someone limps, someone calls and you are on the Button with AT73ss. Not good enough to raise, but not bad enough to call that 1bb IP. VPIP/PFR gap widens.

We don't aim to make certain stats, we aim to make best decisions. Sometimes higher VPIP and lower PFR is justified, sometimes it's bad. Important thing is to understand whether we make good decisions or not. Like that AT73ss, if there is an open and a call, we fold that from the Button.

496,85 points in September, only 3,15 missing to stay on gold:s_cry:

One task added: Playing with deep stack. In fast PLO I normally take money home when 150-200bb, in normal 200+ because I don't feel comfortable when can't bet all-in on flop with nuts. Propably turn-playing needs improvement.

This is a reminder for me: Newer think that Pokerstars cash-out algoritm makes a mistake some day (cash-out->you win, don't->you will lose) Villain cashed out, I didn't and even thought that this time algoritm could make a mistake. But algoritm worked perfectly, turn:8c: river:7c:

Spoiler

Yes I know, its just bad luck but when it happens 10 times in 2 days with 80/5 VPIP/PFR players have to whine

Is today my day or should I stop playing when profit is more than for all yesterday? Only 3 hands so far today fast PLO5. 1st folded at SB, 2nd won at BB 11c.

My 3rd hand today: Solid player at UTG opened, unknown MP call, very weird player at CO 3bet (normally his 3bet hands have been really "creative" and strong hands just call). BTN and SB fold, hero 4bet. UTG fold, MP AI, CO call.

Flop not bad with goodshot and BD FD if some of villains have also AA or hitted a set. Money in and I thougt again that CO is really weird, I would have gone AI on preflop with his hand. CO called and cashed out his 17% when saw flop. I thought that because I have less than 80% it's possible to win, no cash-out. No K, J or 7 on T and R and no help for draws, AA was enough to win big pot.

In October I have been playing mostly in Olybet (GGpoker network). Started 11 days ago and have made all honeymoon missions so far. Todays mission was to play 5 AoF SnGs. Played 6 (4 NL and 2 PLO), was 5 times ITM, winnings 7,4$ with 6*0,5 bins. Maybe I should play more those?

In Unibet some hands in some days and in Pokertars everyday sometime to get points for PS Gold status.

One hand from Pokerstars PLO5 zoom. I have over 1000 hands with this guy and I have seen him bluffing me out from best hand with big bluffs when turn is suitable for bluffing. This time I decided to catch him:f_thumbsup: After this hand he has been playing very carefully against me.

Not very well in Poker:f_cry:

I have been very lazy to write anything for months, even didn't read forum.

In October-November I made 28/30 Olybet honeymoon missions. I tried to get flush in NL AoF but stopped trying after loosing about $20. To win KO tournament I didn't even try. Got some cash rewards and tickets making some money with them, best on was PLO $51 tournamnet ticket where I succeeded to get to 2nd round where everybody ITM with very small stack, PF AI with KKTTds, board had wrong colors and got something above $100.

ince October 10 I have been almost every day in GGpoker daily 100k flipout where about 25% will be ITM. Succeeded to get small money about $20 3 times. I had tens of times chips over average. But I have been always very unlucky in any lotteries.

In GG flipouts the key is to get into a table where you have one of the biggest stacks. If you get past the first table, you are usually ITM. If you have the biggest stack, you are quaranteed to get to the next table (as no one can get all your chips). If you have the 2nd biggest stack, you just need to beat one player (the biggest stack) which is 50/50. If you have 3rd highest stack, you beat top2 33% of times.

Yes it's pure luck because you can't select table. And I'm never lucky in lotteries. Biggest win about 25$ was when I was 2nd in first table with AJ and got flush on river with J and won also 2nd round. In next table I survided first round but was knocked out on next.

Yesterday ended after 2086 hands in RnC PLO2 with very small winrate 2,95 bb/100. After first thousand hands it was over 24,68. No big mistakes but lost both 2 AAxx allinns, lost aginst wrap with K-set and had to fold on river when villains got they draws after paying full pots on turn. Won also with flopped wrap and with set againt flopped straight. So quite normal day.

Todays first session was good for money but I'm not happy how it was made.

2 idiots playing with big stacks. Who was bigger idiot, me or villain? Villain has prophetic name.
Very loose and passive player opens at MP, I 3bet with AAds on BB. Cbet-call, Cbet-call, AI-call

Old Finninsh saying: Morning is wiser than evening. Or maybe I'm wiser in the mornings? Day started well but from afternoon to evening some mistakes, and if my draws some times fulfilled villains got full hand or flush :f_cry:

I have been cursed. Almost every hand today something like this. Villain hits straight on turn and secures win with straight flush on river :f_cry:
