So, i deposit $300 in the beginning of september to just try how does it feel to play. I think that i was nearly 10 years without any serious playing. Nowadays $300 dosent mean so much to me but still i couldnt gamble the money so i started to play PLO5. Just wanted to get the feeling back. I get the feeling back for sure.

Now my BR is $1300 playing mostly PLO5 and for the last week PLO10. Have been playing without any softwares and counting only GG poker huds.

I think its time to take a shot at PLO25.

I think that i will stick to PLO10 for awhile cause i have so many leaks on my play and i think that the play has changed alot in these years.

First of all my 3-bet range is too tight. I´m thinking, that because of the ridicilous rake in micros, i have to try to play bigger pots with quality hands.
Second, im bluffing too much! I have to get out of that habbit. I think that blocker play dosent get through on these stakes.
And so much more like playing OOP top/middle pairs with weak draws and overplaying nut flush draws without a made hand etc...

Have been watching JNandez vids on youtube (think that the quy knows what to do). PLO mastermind monthly subscription is pretty expencive and propaply not for the micro stake players like me. Does anyone have experience of that site?

Let´s open this cause offcourse you gonna 3-bet with quality hands But what i ment is like, you have hand like Ac8cK9 on SB. MP limps, CO limps and Button pots. Now, if i call there will be 4-way pot probably and my hand wont play that good in multiway. And considering the rake i would lose money in the long run if i just call? So 3-betting we can beat the rake and force the limpers to fold? And not worrying to BTN 4-bet because our blockers to AA?

And what to come to my $300 deposit and todays bankroll of $1330 it´s not just playing PLO5 for two months Somehow i have managed to cash in those GGcare and suckout flips like $220 and played those in PLO25-PLO100. Collected little rakeback and deposit bonus $70. That deposit bonus is pretty hard to grind in PLO5. Don´t know my winrate because i dont have any tools to track that. I tried holdem manager but my laptop is so fucking slow, 4gt ram, that i get frustrated. And now i would like to get tips of decent laptop that can run softwares. Is 16gt ram enough? I think that if your going to run some solvers 16gt isn´t enough.

That's a decent sample. Looks like you running hot. You had a decent increase of profit around 93k hands you played.

Yeah, that´s were i played PLO50 and PLO100 with my C$200 that i somehow managed to win in those GGcare and suckout flips

There was a hand that i hit one outer. I raised CO 7789ds and SB calls. Flop 783hh. Sb check i bet 1/2 pot and Sb pots. Cause i didnt have any hearts blockers i was sure that villain had only draw cause i block the 8. So i jam. Villain had 88 and river was a sweet 7. Shame on me.

Will not waste my time further. But if you can answer me that what solver software u recommend. I´m so old of this shit and they all are so expencive so i need some adwise monker solver is like 500€- PLO mastermind is f/monthe and so on...

My next target will be to get 2000$ in end of this year and buy that monker solver. Is it worth it?

Don't have monker but issue with it is amount of calculation needed to check different spots. Likely not even doable with older computer. At least RAM requirements are high but have not checked required specs though.

Big advantage of tools like plotrainer on mastermind or plo vision on run it once are massive amount of already simulated spots. So it's lot easier to train on different spots and video content also nicely crunch some concepts into more easily digested format.

But yeah personally I have done so that I take one month subscription and then study good amount during that and don't have continuous subscription. Though I was close to taking this year black Friday offer on yearly one.

Hello, i need some adwise!

I haven´t play so much in last week but i have studied and digging all the free contents that is awailable. What i have learned is that i´m waisting my time for grinding PLO5 and recent PLO10. So i think that i have to quit or take a next step!
So i think that i withdraw $200 and buy a one month on plo mastermind. I study the game for month and make a deposit of $2000. Then my bankroll will be $3000 and i start playin PLO25.

I´m pretty sure that i have an edge, with my Hwang learnings, on PLO25 field but i can chrush it with updating my knowledge for to days standard. What do you think? Is PLO25 the cornerstone of breakin the rake?

Hi, I got a new PC, my old laptop was so damn slow with 4gb ram, with 32gb ram so I think it will run smoother gg poker software.

Bought one month subscription to mastermind. I was checking my emails and found this cyber Monday flash sale deal from mastermind and the coupon was still valid so I got it for -50%. Nice.

So my goal is now to study the game for the next month and play a few session in PLO25 for one or two table most. And when I'm done the month I will make a deposti, on top of my $1100, and see how I can handle PLO25 and 50.

I would advice to approach study in structured way. E.g. start from solid preflop ranges which make postflop lot easier. Then focus on more common postflop spots.

Preflop:

- Open raise ranges
- respond to 3bets/squeezes
- call/3bet versus open
- respond to 4bet
- Differences being in or out of position Vs 3bet

Postflop:

- BU Vs BB single raised pots
- BU Vs SB 3bet pots
- BU Vs CO srp/3bet pots

Those are ones I would focus first with trainer and videos. I would not recommend to just bin watch lot of videos but check ones that are related to topic you focus currently. Can be good source of concepts.

In trainer strength buckets are great to get overview on solver strategy. But good to keep in mind differences to real world. E.g. preflop you more or less always have less fe with 3bets and usually postflop raises are with stronger ranges as people are not going for blocker bluffs that much.

Rake is high on most sites in plo25 or plo50 but at least in my games I have found lot of recreational players so win rate should be fairly high with solid strategy. Just avoid those zoom/rush tables where field tend to be lot tighter and rake can become big issue more easily. With good amount of traffic table selection is also good to keep in mind. Soft table on plo25 can be lot better than bad plo50 one.
