Exactly what I thought when I looked at this hand. At least you analyzed it well.
In this hand with AJo must be on the turn. I see You try play some tournaments from Carnival Series.

I analyze every tournament that I play, except some freerolls which I'm playing since there are some that I just can see the point since in freerolls everyone is a maniac

Yes I tried to play some and also I will try this week in weekend because in the last 2 days I did not played any tournaments, life things are to important right now.
Hi everyone, ![]()
Not much to say this week, I haven't play much on any platforms this week.....I have family over and I don't have time to properly play, so no updates this week.
I'll be back next week when things are calming down. ![]()
Take care and good luck at the tables.
Hi everyone, ![]()
The weekly update will be up tomorrow, a bit delayed since I had no internet for the past 2 days do to some "genius" who drove his car into the electrical pole and took it down, leaving the whole neighborhood without electricity and no internet.

Hi everyone, ![]()
For the past two weeks I had family over so I mostly played only freerolls since I could not focus properly on the game, also I haven't studied at all this time so I'm way behind on that also. ♠_cry: But given that Pokerstars removed all cash freeroll the only thing that we can win now by playing freerolls are step entries to bigger tournament, but you have to be very lucky to win 3 or 4 step tournaments....so pretty much you play for fun and experience.
I wanted to ask everyone what are your opinions about the path that Pokerstars is taking now?...I believe that they changed their strategy and made it hard for someone that is starting/ discovering poker just now. What do you think about this?
Since my family left only Saturday (10.02.2024) I played some regular tournaments, but I did not wanted to overdo since I had some things to do, after they left so I played only 2-3 tournaments in the evening but no cashes in any of them.
On Sunday I played in Sunday Storm and also some small tournaments $5.50 to $1.10 and I managed to almost break even after finishing in the money in Sunday Storm. So pretty much a quiet update this time around. ![]()

The plan for next couple of weeks is to put in place a new schedule for my study sessions and also I will incorporate into my daily play schedule some $11 and $7.50 tournaments that I find value to play in.
The bankroll starting this week is:
Played from 29.01.2024 to 11.02.2024β
Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $3330.62
Current Bankroll: $3325.04
Profit from last week: - $5.58
Goal: $10 000
Take care and see you at the tables.
Hi everyone, ![]()
First week back since the "family break" was the worst week for me in a long long time... Like I said in the previous update, I will add some more tournaments to the daily schedule which I did, I added the $11 Bounty Builder and also the $7.50 Bounty Builder tournaments ( this are the tournaments that I play during the week ), on the weekend I tried to qualify to the Sunday Million by playing a lot of satellites ranging from $1.10 to $11.
Unfortunately this week I did not managed to qualify to Sunday Million, but I didn't want also to put a lot of my bankroll into this satellites, so I stopped at $20 payed for it. I will try every week to qualify to Sunday Million, while I'm playing the daily schedule.
Sorry for the late update, but I was trying to review all of my tournaments from this week, to see how I played and what mistakes I've done, but mostly to understand what went so wrong this week
. Basically I can see that not studying regularly has affected my play a lot. This week I played scared of loosing and scared of not trusting my gut and my ability to play proper poker. Also I had some bad luck in some spots, but I can't blame it on that since it's part of the game....so moving forward, it's time to get study sessions back properly and focus more on playing my A game.
After reviewing my hands history I could not believe how scared I played this week, I didn't entered hands that usually I should have played, I made folds that where definitely calls, and I put myself into position to be the underdog just by not playing aggressive enough. Also it seems that in the multiway pots I always seem to loose just because I was checking way more then I should have. So there is definitely a lot of work that I have to do starting this week.
I want to share some hands that I played last week:

In this hand I believe that if I 3-bet or shove I will take it down pre-flop or at least I'm against max one opponent.....I might not be in a good position if I'm playing against one opponent but I would take that then playing against 4. What do you think?
In the end I did not got out playing this hand...so I guess it's a good thing??? ![]()
Here are some results from this week:

Hi everyone, ![]()
Made some changes after the horror that was last week. ![]()
This past week I started playing from Tuesday, while on Monday I wanted to study and trying to find a bit of time off, and focus more. Started to play during the week some $11, $7.50 and $5.50 tournaments with some $3.30 and $2.20 if I did not have to many tables at once. I managed to cash into the $11 Bounty Builder 2 times but not a very deep run.

I made a deep run this week on Friday, when after the study session, I tried the new tournament Hot $5.50 PKO, I managed to finish 20th but with a bit of luck I could have made it to the final table.
The Hot tournaments are a faster version of a regular tournament, I used to not play this type of tournaments since there is a lot of luck involved but back then I did not know much about poker....so I was focused on slow structure tournaments.

On Sunday I played a lot and also I tried again qualifying to Sunday Million. I played some small buy-ins satellites and I managed to qualify via a $2.20 tournament, unfortunately I got KO with 2 minutes left of late reg and I did not registered again. Here is my last hand....I was left with 11BB and I shoved against a min raise from UTG+1....yet again when I'm against 2 players I loose with the best pre-flop hand ![]()
Jokerstar got us both here:

Also this are some more results from Sunday session:

I qualified to Sunday Storm and managed to cash in that one also, so pretty much a nice Sunday for me with cash in Sunday Million and some more tournaments.

I guess the new schedule and also the new rules that I put into place are working , let's see this week how I will do.
Starting this week the bankroll is:
Played from 19.02.2024 to 25.02.2024β
Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $3260.57
Current Bankroll: $3355.66
Profit from last week: + $95.09

Good that week ends with profit. I must try Play some tournaments on the morning too.

I do believe that tournaments in the morning, if you have time, are worth playing, but in my case I can not play them since I work all mornings, that's why my sessions start at around 7:30 PM, my time, most of them. The difference is in weekends when if I don't have something planed...I do have longer sessions like 10-11 hours.
Qualify yesterday to the Road to Sunday Million and everything was going nice until this F* hand :censored::censored::censored:

Here I could bet my life that he had AK or AQ just by the reads on him from playing over 80+ hands with him at this table.

And of course I was right, but the poker gods where not with me here....I need to have a long discussion with them :mdr::mdr::mdr:

But even when I'm down to 2BB I'm not dead, so don't count me out yet .

From that I build a nice stack and managed to get some more bounties, that until the "poker gods " fu** me over again. :censored::censored::censored:

I managed to finish 58 so it's not that bad.:f_cool: especially since I qualify via a $0.50 satellite. There is some nice value in this tournament satellites. Few players and the field is really soft, it's a nice tournament that I might add it to the daily schedule.
Hello everyone, ![]()
This past week I played from Monday to Thursday, because on Friday I had to leave from home. I came back Sunday evening and I tried to qualify to the Sunday Million, I played two satellites ( one hyper turbo $2.85 and the other one was a $5.50 with 75 places GTD), but unfortunately I did not managed to get an entry, also I did not want to overdue it, since it was a long drive home and I was a bit tired.
Started the week nicely, on Monday after I finished the study session I played 2 tournaments. In the $3.30 bounty builder I had an early exit when I lost 78BB when I called a shove from the UTG (I had QQ over 22 ), but the flop was 6K2 and I was out after 14 hands, did not re-entered, in the other one, the $7.50 Bounty Builder I finished into the money and also got some nice bounties.

After that no notable results until Thursday, when I played a lot of tournaments, ( since I knew I will leave ), and the only decent result was in the Road to Sunday Million tournament, where I finished 58th. ( I posted the relevant hands earlier last week )

On Sunday I played the Sunday Storm, but I made some stupid mistakes and I got out after 2 hours of play. This past week was a short one, but I will be playing a lot more this week. Study sessions are going well and I can see myself improving because of it.
This week the bankroll is:
Played from 26.02.2024 to 03.03.2024β
Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $3355.66
Current Bankroll: $3348.93
Profit from last week: - $6.73
Goal: $10 000

Hello everyone, ![]()
During last week I played very few tournaments, I played more on the weekend when I had also some nice results. Since during the week I did not have much time, I read the article form CC for Spin & Go's and decided to try it and see how it goes:transpire:. Started with the $0.25 and went pretty good I managed to win around $13 just by playing those stakes, after that I moved to $1 and see how it will go....on that stake I break even with a bit of profit ($1-$3).
But since there is a lot of luck involved, I will not play them regularly, I'm sticking to tournaments. I feel more enjoyment in tournaments.
On Saturday I had my best result this week, I finished 76th in the Bounty Builder $11 and got some nice bounties.

I did not managed to review this tournament, because I had a very busy Sunday, but I will do it today during the Study Session.
Sunday I played from 8 PM my time, and I played some $1.50 Spin & Go's trying to qualify to Sunday Million or wining some $5.50 & $11 tickets. I did not managed to qualify but I got only one $5.50 ticket that I will use it this week. I spent around $36 trying to qualify ![]()
I had my worst Sunday Storm ever...and I still can't believe it. I played just before the late reg was up, so I did not re-entered again. But I can't believe that I had so many bad hands that I blinded out...my best hand was A9o, not 1 pair bigger then 22, but I had 42o 13 times...WTF
, J4o, J8o,J6o 7 times each. KJo once and Q10s once...I just couldn't believed it. If I did not have HM3 to look over I would not believed it.
Anyway this week the bankroll is:
Played from 04.03.2024 to 10.03.2024
Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $3348.93
Current Bankroll: $3448.89
Profit from last week: + $99.96
Goal: $10 000
Take care and good luck at the tables

First I like your squeeze there pre-flop. On the flop I would bet like 1/3 pot (7100 chips), if he calls then he can have a lot of flush or straight draws, or hands like 77, 88, TT,JJ, AK, AQ with a
(not the A♣: since you have that ).... I don't think that he has AA, KK because he would definitely go all in pre-flop with those hands, considering the bounty on you and the fact that he has you covered.
Now when he calls your bet on the flop, that might raise some flags....you bet almost half pot and he called you....there are some things that you should consider here:
- how did he played until this hand...is he a player who just likes to call a lot?
- does he get aggressive when he has something?
- do you have any reads on him?
Since he called your c-bet we can narrow his range a bit to...over pairs, flush draws, sets....but the Q does not help you a lot there....I don't think he calls there with AQ, AK, A5...so that Q mostly helps him if he called with an QQ. So I probably check and let him bet....and if he would push I would have a hard time folding in this spot.....so the result would be the same......Please note that my post flop game is not the strongest
What I noticed in Sunday Million especially at the beginning is that players do not bluff that much and most of them when they shove they have it.
This is a bad beat hand in this case, so I would not stay and overthink it to much....it hurts but we have to not let this get to us. If you qualified to this Sunday Million you have what it take to do it again.
Hope this helps.
