Hi bkbard, almost overlooked your blog!
Why don't you join our Bankroll Challenge (see my signature). This way you can easily track with us how things are going.
Also, I saw you reported a loss last Friday, but you are aware that you made some big points in our rake chase on WPTGlobal, right? That gives you some boost back. Payments of that expected in the next couple of days...

Joined the BR callenge. Thanks for the encouragement. about Bwin payouts. I was expecting some tickets for my deposits last week. When do those drop? Or are the deposit bonuses only for the first two deposits? I am looking forward to the global spins tickets. I should have a bunch of those coming my way. If I can convert 33% I should get back up to near even.

I am going to change my bankroll scheme for management purposes. I am going to give myself a $5K starting bankroll. I am down $1000. So as of today I have BR of

$219.50 WPT global
$3800 cash

Still making mistakes but I think closing some leaks.
I had started 3-betting out of position too much.
Getting better a pot control.

Funny story. I was just playing so I could check my total hands played up to date. First hand they deal me is KK and they deal UTG with QQ. All in pre-flop. An over limper folded the all in bet too. I bet they had the Ace on the flop. That was a nice hand to start the BR challenge with.

So for the BR challenge I will start will my BR today and get up to 20K. For reference sake 64268 hands played on WPT as of now.

In summary
BR is $4,019.50
0 hands played (for BR challenge)

Yeah requested the Tickets yesterday. Please note that we had to reassign the StrategyPoints as for usernames containing capital letters it unfortunately added all of the months StrategyPoints again on each day, resulting in some users getting many thousand points instead of ... much less.
In any case you should receive yours in the next couple of days - and maybe hit a jackpot with that!
For the conversion, I would not be thaaat pessimistic. You will receive 8 tickets of $50 which even with a small discount I would still value at $300 at the very minimum. Nobody in such short games has such a bad edge that you should write off 67% of your money.
Of course, there is always variance - so sometimes you will get 0 and other times 2.5k.

It seamed like I was racking up an enormous amount of SP. So I will not get as many tickets as I had thought I would. Ya I did not mean convert %33 of the bonus tickets into cash. What I am hoping for is to atleast win 33% of the games so convert 100% of the cash maybe more with a few good spins. So 8ticketsx$50=$400

Thanks Sven. I'm looking forward to playing these big buy in spins.

Yeah so quite nice, I hope more people will see the value in "good" competition and the growth of the platform for WPTGlobal. So far heard only positive feedback apart from earlier teething problems.

@ SvenBe
Ya the bonus is nice. I thought I would get 2 more $100 tickets for my last 2 deposits of $300 but maybe that is only on the first two deposits? I don't like the insurance option and the lobby stops responding when I close a pace table down. I am about to stop earning the bonus rake back.

Rough stuff on Sunday. Won a $25 spin and go in the king of cash free roll. Had the guy A2 vs J8 and he connected. Had 3BB after that.
Then knocked from a $55 PKO with my K10 vs Q10.
Cashed in the mini slam for $19

$550 WPT
$3800 cash
$4350

Peaked at $1025 WPT with a $300 raffle win...and then back down to $761.00. Playing well for the most part. Made a bad call on a re-raised turn that connected a flush. Still getting in to big pots with top pair too often.

$761 WPT
$3800cash
$4561

playing around 5k hands a week NL .10/.20/.30
