Diid some cleaning today. Cleaned the kitchen properly, it gets dirty very quickly.

Yeah, I was too busy for a blog post.
I whittled 2507 photos down to 792. That took well over five days.
The slide show is still long at 20 seconds each, it is still a long time — over 4 hours

Lots of errands to run
our front door is broken. sometimes it won't latch shut, sometimes when it does it needs to be pried open.
You know the irony of buying a pair of scissors that comes in a packaging for which you need a pair of scissors to open it?
It kind of happened yesterday at work too, where I broke my utility knife the other day and then got a new one, which of course came in exactly this kind of packaging. I had used a borrowed knife until that point, which then saw another final use to give me access to the new one.
Mrs Vorpal goes to visit a niece today. She's in hospital after delivering a premature baby.[1]
