I am following your journey as a Fellow FL Lover although its been years since i last played poker in general. I do believe though that you are able to beat 2c/4c for much more than 1.4BB/100. Do you have any preflop charts or anything training or are you just going by guts? with that low a winrate i am assuming you are playing quite tight ?

Hi Avataren, I am using charts but I was not using the right ones until 30th May after which I was playing a bit looser. My stats are roughly 23VIP/18PFR,
July is going well and beating the game for 7+BB/100. I have gone as far as I can training wise here with basic status, not sure when I will be able to get silver, when I do I will also learn 5 card draw which is also a limit game but starts at 10c/20c.

Yesterday was a good day all round really cash and tourney. Played 79 hands for a profit of 58c or 18.35BB/100 and takes my win rate up to 1.46BB/100 for 24,448 hands played.
In a rare occurrence and now done it for a second time in a step 1 spin & go, won a step 3 $11 ticket, tourney tickets are now $55.00.

Thought I was heading for a bad losing day again but it came back and I was not playing well either, in view of all this I curtailed the session for the day early but recorded a profit of 27c or 2.61BB/100 for 259 hands played, this sent my win rate up to 1.47BB/100 for 24,866 hands played.
Tourney tickets are $55 I went out of step 2 MTT with 66 v 33 and he hit a 3 on river oh well. It maybe something to do with the cash out curse I cashed off 75% of my original bankroll and will take the other 25% at a later date, then its increasing my bankroll to move up to 5c/10c probably early next year for that.

So far I have played 25,257 hands for a win rate of 1.32BB/100. Tourney tickets are $55.00.
I will now only update here every week so that will be the 31st July and the end of the month so post will be longer.
See you all in a week.

Only played 1,021 hands as the last 2 days there was no play, one day stars was down for some reason and the other I was overly busy with workers in doing stuff in my place. The result was a small loss of 9c or 0.22BB/100 and takes my win rate down to 1.26BB/100 for 26,278 hands played.
So for July I played 4,331 hands for a win rate of 3.86BB/100 a much improved result on last month giving a profit of $6.68 plus $1.36 cash and a ticket refund in my own currency of £11, if I convert it all to $$ its around $22 for the month so a big success. I also have Tourney tickets of $55.50.
My cash game profits are $13.24 and other tourney/chest prizes are $4.15 and £11 refund. If its all converted that's around a gain of $31+. On those figures I should make $100 after 308 days or end of Feb 2025. I can then move up to 5c/10c.
I will next update after the 7th August.

I played 1,044 over the last 7 days for a profit of 38c or 0.91BB/100. This takes my win rate down to 1.25BB/100 for 27,322 hands played.
Tourney tickets have gone up to $67.50 after gaining an $11 ticket in a step 2 sit n go. I think volume is down due to the Olympic games.
Next update on 15th August.

Well guys the moment you have all been waiting for, I can announce that I have decided after playing 30k hands that I am a winning player at 2c/4c and that I am moving up to 5c/10c str8 away.
First lets get up to date with the figures just today needed to bring up things up to date. Had a losing day -125c after playing 478 hands or -6.54BB/100 which takes my win rate down to 1.38BB/100 for 30,098 hands, all was not lost though I cashed in a 16 man sit & go and won $1.36 so up overall on the day.
Since 1st July I have played 8,151 hands for a profit of $10.03 at a win rate of 3.08BB/100. Since I started I have made $16.59 and cashed with one chest $6.01 and had a ticket refund of £11, overall I am up £28.29 or $37 ish and I have $77 worth of tourney tickets.
I have a net deposit of £25 which I will double and I hope to get the £50 off at a later stage.
Things will then be reviewed after playing 30k hands at 5c/10c I will still play 2c/4c though. I can say that if I am up by more than 1BB/100 I will move up again to 10c/20c which I think I am well capable of doing.
Some strange things though only had 114 prs of AA when should have had 135 saving them for higher limits hehe, I need to review things to play more hands and get my vpip up a bit.

I have not seen any tables of 5c/10c in play yet. Tourney tickets are $77.00 and the next update will be after the end of the month.

Before I review the month lets bring things up to date, since the last update I have played 759 hands for a profit of 81c or 2.67BB/100 and takes my win rate up to 1.59BB/100 for 31,453 hands, tourney tickets are $78.50 and I have not yet played any 5c/10c.
For the month I made $6.80 for 5175 hands or 3.29BB/100 and had a small cash of $1.36. An even better guide is looking at the last 2 months I played 9506 hands for a profit of $13.48 or 3.55BB/100.
In total I have made $20.04 had cashes/chest of $6.01 a refund of £11.00 and tourney tickets $78.50 all after 4 months or so. In all I am in profit in GBP £30.62 plus whatever the tickets give me.
I am targeting 4,500-5,500 hands a month if I can get more great and some 5c/10c players plz.

A major update/change has just taken place since the last update. I have put back on my original deposit so I have put back another £50 on to my poker stars account making my total deposit £100 not sure when I might be able to get this off as I do not want to put obstacles in my way to my progress.
So now you are wondering why I have done this, well there is not much 5c/10c games I have decided on that score to move up to 10c/20c when I have 10k hands in at 5c/10c and a win rate of over 1BB/100 but that might take a lot of time, so I have decided to add another string to my bow and play 5 card draw this has low variance and also needs a much smaller bankroll.
As I have silver status I have learnt how to play and have made a slight start before I give details on how I have done over the last 7 days I want to just let you know what bankroll requirements I have made. For 5c/10c 1000BB which is $100 and for 5 card draw the lowest is 10c/20c it is $70 or 350BB now these are bigger than they need to be and can be made lower as I move up the limits, my bankroll at end August was $170 or so.
At 2c/4c I played 2,189 hands for a profit of $1.37 or 1.56BB/100 and at 5c/10c 103 hands for a profit of $1.69 or 16.41BB/100, if you combine these it is 2,292 hands for a profit of $3.06 or 2.23BB/100, for 5 card draw I played only 74 hands for a profit of 87c or 11.76BB/100. My profit therefore for the first 7 days of the month is $3.93, tourney tickets have risen to $88.
The overall position for 2c/4c is 33,642 hands played for a profit of $21.41 or 1.59BB/100. My next update will be after the 14th September.

Well things are now more complicated as I am playing 2 cash games and 5 card draw, so I will update how I have done on each over the last 7 days and then for the month so far and then in total on 2c/4c, as this is the first month for 5c/10c and 5 card draw 10c/20c the in total numbers for the month are also the total numbers so far.
So for 2c/4c I played 1,505 hands for a profit of 97c or 1.61BB/100, for 5c/10c I played 191 hands for a loss of 52c or 2.72BB/100, for 5 card draw 10c/20c I played 525 hands for a profit of $1.59 or 1.51BB/100.
For the month so far at 2c/4c I have played 3,694 hands for a profit of $2.34 or 1.58BB/100, for 5c/10c I have played 294 hands for a profit of $1.17 or 3.98BB/100 and for 10c/20c draw I have played 599 hands for a profit of $2.46 or 2.05BB/100. This makes my profit for the month so far $5.97 and tourney tickets are $88.
For 2c/4c so far I have played 35,147 hands for a profit of $22.38 or 1.59BB/100. I appear to be on course for playing 10K hands this month in total.
My next update will be after 21st September.

Well this last 7 days have been interesting with special interest in 5 card draw which is a WIP (Work in Progress) so without further ado lets get down to figures.
So for 2c/4c I played 806 hands for a loss $1.44 or 4.47BB/100, for 5c/10c I played 100 hands for a profit of $2.24 or 22.40BB/100 and for 5 card draw 10c/20c I played 2,533 hands for a profit of $16.01 or 3.16BB/100.
Now for the month so far for 2c/4c I played 4,500 hands for a profit of 90c or 0.50BB/100, for 5c/10c I played 394 hands for a profit of $3.41 or 8.65BB/100 and for 5 card draw 10c/20c I played 3,132 hands for a profit of $18.47 or 2.95BB/100.
For 2c/4c I have played 35,953 hands for a profit of $20.94 or 1.46BB/100. This month also saw me obtain a chest with $3 although I had to use my tourney tickets to get there. My profit for the month is now $25.78 mainly due to 5 card draw, I managed to get a WCOOP $5.50 ticket which I am using on Sept 22/23 in a 2 day event with bounties. I am also on track for another chest in October, estimated hands for month 10k-12k.
It is too early to think of moving up on 5 card draw I will look at this more closely after 10k Hands. My next update will be after the end of month.
