This is "the most competent guy". (I will call him like that so you know who I am talking about). So I know him well enough to know he is probably iso-raising the flop. His preflop ranges are so wide, it is actually somewhat hard for him to have the straight and he probably would not raise a set. The problem is, if I call the flop, continuation looks quite iffy cause we were so deep. Should I just fold the flop?
Spoiler
HERO Calls $10.72 (Rem. Stack: $181.89)
Turn ($43.30): 9♥ 8♠ 6♦ 3♥
SB Bets $31 (Rem. Stack: $91.41), HERO ? ... or go with my read and continue the calldown? Problem is we'd have only 2 outs if we are wrong. 2-barrel frequency in this very unique spot is also hard to assess.
Spoiler
HERO Folds
River ($74.30): 9♥ 8♠ 6♦ 3♥ 5♣
BTN shows: K♦ A♥ Q♣ 4♥
SB shows: T♥ Q♦ T♠ 8♦
SB wins: $41.99
He had blockers + gs only indeed. This keeps me wondering if there could have been a better play than folding flop (or turn which I like even less).
