This is an old thread lol.

But ofcourse the topic is still very actual for poker players.

I would say that if you find yourself chasing losses or playing limits way above your bankroll (tilted or not) that is really a bad sign.

When you have this habit, try limiting the buyin/ limit you can play on the pokerroom, so that you can play maximum of NL10 or $5 mtt's for example....

Else I guess depositing is about the same as sending your money to an unknown bank account or leaving your wallet in the grocery store.

This made me laugh!

Indeed and only deposit money that you can miss. Otherwise it will go wrong sooner or later.

I'm like Shkureonak's situation. I've tried crash 2NL/5NL but sometimes felt bored and play tournament or 10NL, then bankrupt.

I won few thousand bucks on WPT Global but lost many times on GG and PokerStars.
I also won at live cash low stakes, but still can't win on 2NL.:f_cry:

I know basic strategy but how can I study for crash online?:f_mad:

I hear you're going through a tough time with your poker journey. It sounds like you're really passionate about the game but struggling with managing your emotions, especially when it comes to tilt.

Making a larger deposit and trying to implement proper bankroll management is a good step if you feel it will help you stay more disciplined. However, if you find yourself repeatedly losing control and going on tilt, it might be worth taking a step back and reevaluating your approach.

Have you considered taking a break from poker for a bit to reset and refocus? Sometimes stepping away can help gain a fresh perspective and come back stronger. Home games with friends can be a fun and less stressful way to enjoy poker while you work on your emotional control.

Ultimately, it's important to prioritize your mental well-being. If you feel like your emotions are getting the best of you and impacting your life negatively, it might be wise to seek support or professional help to address these challenges.

I built a role from the 1c/2c games a couple years ago...

Within a few months I had $4000 in my roll. It's really easy to crush those games. Just steal loads, cbet loads, and then tighten up.

You'll build a roll in no time. In the 10c games is where you start to see normal players. But they're all exploitable still. The $100 games is where it actually gets tough.

(Crazy players is a good thing btw. You just have to work then out. They don't usually mix it up)
