No, cash is boring. Unlikely to play unless there is a whale throwing blind 500€ all-ins at the table (Back in EMOP Bulgaria in 2011 there was).

Rarely take re-entries but yeah, with lots of bullets could easily destroy a 5k-10k even at those "small" live tournaments. Bit boring for regular people nowadays that 150€ and 200€ events are considered smallest buy-ins at these tournament weeks - recs don't have such money that they could participate at most of those.

There is no end, just endless grind. Cash games are generally always 100bb deep.

I have been playing online poker since 2005 (or 2004), and always tournaments because they have changing situations, stacks and clear target: to be the last player standing.

Cash games live can be more fun than online, but not because of the game but the people. But for me then it is usually just fun with drinks and lots of non-poker discussion included, not real poker grind. Poker is just sort of a side-action there.

No success today either. Did 2 short sessions, first one got no chances, second one had a good chance to bink 55$ NLO8 hyper PKO but after 2 megaflips for huge chiplead got scooped from me by river got just mincash from there. Got a sort of second chance, though with bit shallow stack at 109$ Sunday Million (decided finally use a ticket for it with latereg), but just got mincash after A8 push with 12bb from CO after tight play met AQ from blinds. It would've been about average stack 1000 left.

Well, at least those 2 mincashes alongside with some bounties made this Sunday break-even day. Bad, but at least not losing money.

Upcoming week is likely not much poker - got much other stuff to do and motivation for poker is on shallow waters. Next week is Coolbet Open, I have managed to got 5k shot bankroll alongside my 30k "bread and butter bankroll" by rearranging my finances without touching my about 200k stocks portfolio. So I could play those live events without mentally killing my "bread and butter bankroll" - I consider 1000 buy-ins safe for playing so that means that for general games I should play in average 30€ buy-ins to be on the safe side.

Coolbet Open done. Lots of fun, too bad that poker wasn't much part of that and no cashes - just one tournament ticket. -665€ (and main event ticket) from tournaments, +30€ from roulette (they had promo tickets so it was +EV). True roulette pro.

Basic stuff, like AA < TT flips at bigger event. But poker variance is massive when it comes to live tournaments. Online you can play 40+ MTTs a day while live you may be able to play 3 MTTs (usually less, since live event schedules are poor). Played 2 satellites (got one ticket to deepstack), 3 hypers, one gimmick Texas event and main event + also a flip freeroll (8 players, 1600€ live package for winner) but no cigar.

Now back in home and going to sleep, so no Sunday Session for me. Poker trips tend to be exhausting, though it is just 2 hour boat trip from Helsinki to Tallinn.

No poker yet after the trip, though planning to grind some O8 WCOOPs. Prob shotting some 109 and 215 events and satelliting some for bigger ones.

Did a nightly shopping while watching Finnish Survivors. Guessed promo codes for -10% and bought both to get free shipping, because saving money is fun.

First proper session in ages, roughly 5,5 hours and 27 MTTs. Too bad that runs were horrible: just got 2 satellite tickets and 2 mincashes from 10bb bounties, and all bigger ones (44-82) bricked without bounties.

Hard to win when flips all go to opponents. Well, probably playing tomorrow a short session as there are big NLO8 MTTs and Tuesday a short session with a stream since there is streamer special tournament. Let's see how they go, doing some decent and well profitable 15-20 MTT sessions with 4-5 hours of runtime would be nice. Depends on the mood how many I will end up playing, but probably not taking anything which is likely to last much over 2 am EET without final table.

Finally a profitable day at poker. First one in few months.

Just got nasty flashbacks from 2018 as I felt that I got colluded today. Well, I sent the case to Unibet and hope they find out positively if it is or not a collusion case. Uncertainty sucks, almost as much as real collusion when it hits you hard. And 3rd place from 25€ MTT for 400€. Got reasonable amount of other chances, so I could say that today I did once again feel like close to the top of my game.

Tough weekend. Today I got 6 mincashes (2 from MTTs where I actually late registered and folded into money) but nothing better. Had brilliant chance at 55 hyper NLO8 PKO but lost 10 bountyflips at row so instead of nice 4-figs trophy (including bounties) it brought another mincash with few bounties.

Well, didn't play a long session, had decent chances and Sunday was probably pretty close to break-even despite not getting any scores.

Next week I will likely play on Thursday and Sunday, WCOOP O8's + regular schedule. Possible quick strikes at the games alongside those.

WCOOPs and majors bricked, but last MTT of the day brought a medium-sized trophy.

Buy-ins were about 1500 and net profit probably somewhat over +1000. Over 8 hours of playing and I feel spent. Time to go and get some sleep.

Calculated Q3 results. As I didn't play a lot and every damned major event with 100+€ buy-in bricked, result wasn't good. From all games about +2,5k€ and maybe 1k€ additional tickets.

Action: I had 3-betted 7bb after soupdealer opened and alritedave had called. Bet'd flop and turn (after which we were almost all-in already) and of course runner-runner flush comes up.

Had excellent chance for major Sunday scores, but unfortunately it was not to be: 30€ R/A (almost 5k for a winner), 20€ R/A (maybe 1,5k€ for winner) and 100€ PKO one all mincashed.

I am happy on this occasion that I managed to keep excellent concentration (except needed a moment at the early part of session to get into mood) and despite computer problems (some problems with mouse that might be due to hardware and processor, damn those ones). Well, got extra mouse behind me now just in case - it did fix itself as soon as I brought extra mouse behind me.

No score, but probably slightly profitable day due to big mincashes + bunch of bounties + one 109$ ticket.

Last night had 4 MTT hyper session (10,8$ 10bb bounty and hyper PKO in addition of these). While the ending was miserable, solid +400 for about 1 hour session is always nice.

Especially as I was mostly just having freetime while watching friends streaming poker in twitch (also got about +140 from buying just 1% of shares at GG of those games when he won one and was probably top3 at other one).

Lots of stress and tiredness + two free booze-parties have meant that no poker this week. Might even skip Sunday games, because got lots to do before Tuesday flight to Spain.

But while watching twitch streams and having slots running along why not use those usually useless tickets you got from promos? Well, this one is worth a nice steak at Woolshed restaurant during weekday offers or worth a nice meal in Torrevieja.

Banzai Bounties saving Sunday session to positive, too bad that lost this headsup against opponent who managed to win despite being one of the worst ones (lost flopped nut straight against later flush, a flopped flush against rivered higher one, AJ v AK at the last hand and like million other spots where I got top of my range and opponent holding and lasting with top3% or so).

Hoping to see some midstakes banzai bounties added to Unibet. 5€ ones are too slow and too small for Sunday session - they are slower format than in Stars / GG and have smaller buy-in. Usually play them on weekdays if I remember to open Unibet.

Played 109$ PKO at Party and 100€ PKO at Unibet since had to use tickets - they busted early alongside other early tournaments and decided to take a hour of walk enjoying Southern Europe evening weather and launch another session which brought over 1k in cashes bringing Sunday poker session positive

Sort of 50-50 if I should play Unibet Open series - schedule is honestly very poor and boring with almost solely re-entries (PKO or regular texas hold'em), and while there is leaderboard it has quite bad value (almost 600k guaranteeds and 15k LB prizes when it used to be like 300k and 30k about five years ago). And maybe the one deciding factor is that I wouldn't like to play 2€ or 5€ events just for sake of overall leaderboard, but they can't be skipped if one aims to win that one.

Well maybe time for Q4 2024 report. Not much poker, that's also reason why I have been so quiet here but result was impressive: +35 402,65€ + 147,78$.

Most of the result came from high-variance (though +EV) casino bonuses. Poker was quite near break-even and played super few MTTs, sportsbook was about break-even after losing 1500€ betting for Kamala Harris winning popular vote which she lost by 2 million votes in the end (Biden won by 7 million and Clinton by 3 million). Regular low variance casino bonuses made maybe 20% of the winnings.

2024 result overall was about +54k€ by calculating it quickly. Ok considering that I didn't play really much. Probably like 250 hours of poker and 350 hours of other games.

Been playing Unibet Slobberknocker Series every day. Unfortunately bounty flips haven't been on my side, and I have refused to make -EV re-entries (late at late registration) at PKOs. Even though success at PKO-oriented leaderboard is much harder without such moves.

Stone bubbled Tuesday 100€ event and almost final bubbled (8th place) 100€ event today. Not at top10 of either leaderboard, but pretty much committed on trying to reach prizes on high leaderboard (15th now, 6 kills from 8th place).

Generally I am trying to get back into poker grind after few years of leisure at that field. Last year I probably played like 250 hours / maybe 1 000 MTTs and this month alone I am aiming to get 600 MTTs. 5 days of playing and I got 87 so far - which is less than hoped for but it's been hard to grind proper long sessions. Well, there is still 3 weeks left so reaching 600 MTTs is still very possible. Short-term I need to find a way to sleep better and keep my focus on tables when I am playing.

Whether I continue to play on Unibet or not is still open. I have been grinding on 6 different sites this month (Unibet, GG, Stars, Veikkaus, Coolbet, Party) and there's like 6 more potential sites. I am not even sure which games I will be concentrating in the future. But it is obvious that I can't play on 12 sites at the same time and play every single good tournament, so there will have to be choices between different sites and MTT poker formats.
