Some more deep runs on slightly larger fields. I feel like a bigger score is getting closer.

And another straight flush as well :f_love:

Not the big score yet but another final table on some sunday special I rarely mix in. Got a decent amount of premium hands that held and lucked my way up the ladder :f_biggrin:

I still have two tickets from last year that will expire in november. One is a $109 sunday million and the other is a $55. Evaluating if I should enter WCOOP events or some normal scheduled tourney. For me getting into the money would be great. What do you think?

And finally some funny hand. If you're thinking about how to get your stack into the middle on the flop, it's made super easy for you :f_drink:

Just won another $109 ticket today in the promotional tourney for germans. This one is tied to WCOOP.

Not much happend in the last two weeks. I used the WCOOP ticket for the low main event. Collected some chips in the first three hours and was unlucky and card dead then and did not make it into day 2. But it was a nice experience that sowed me that such buy in is way out of my league. My pulse got high in every hand I was involved. Also got an $11 WCCOP ticket that I used to enter the low series saver PKO. There I managed to collect some bounties and made it ITM :f_thumbsup:

Reached some final tables in the daily grind and got bronze medals on 2 of them.

Still waiting for a bigger hit. I decided to enter sunday million with my $109 ticket and go for some bounties. Still thinking about the $55 ticket.

An addendum to last weekend... I was able to eliminate a player from Sunday Million, came into the money and converted the ticket into cash.

I also had another good run - this time in the large field of Sunday Storm. Unfortunately, a few minutes before the end of day 1 I was eliminated.

A nice BR boost but still not the desired result I want to achieve _cry:

Not much happened as I had some days off from poker. Yet, I have some screenshots to share...

Managed to get 2 tickets for Sunday Storm via 33ct qualifiers :f_thumbsup:

Also reached another FT.

Almost a royal, though some payoff.

And finally another royal flush, unfortunately I was not able to banish the other guys with my shove on the river :mdr:

Todays plan was to register for some regular knockouts including Sunday Storm but after a very sportive day I felt not fit enough to click cards the whole night and just startet some turbos (beside the German Special Shootout where I flipped some $11 Power Path ticket). Just got rewarded with some long awaited gold medal

This completes the bronze and silver medals I won this morning :profit:

Good night :f_zZz:

Whoop whoop! Some time has passed and since I have something to brag about here is another update. I was able to generate several small winnings in the daily grind especially in the 18-man turbos that I have neglected lately but played again recently.

Today was a good day. It started with a silver medal this morning ...

... and just ended with gold medals in two satellites.

The nice thing about the latter: when I unregistered I did not get a ticket but T$ :profit:

All in all some nice BR boost. Precise numbers will follow at the weekend. Hopefully I have not spent everything until then.

Posted my numbers this morning. Again, I am not that fit to go for some long tournament sunday. Had some moderate to intensive activity on that beautiful day in autum and only went for the German Special Shootout and some turbo MT-SNGs. Well, as that short session ended with some gold here is another screenshot.

GL everybody at the tables. I am off for today.

Another two weeks have passed and somehow I managed to make another 3 digit profit even though it did not felt like so.

Allright, let us have a look into the screenshot folder...

Maybe the reason is that bronze medal some days ago.

Hopefully, this ticket from last weeks German Special Shootout will bring some other nice profit in the future. Not sure when to use.

Sadly, that is almost all. What is left are two deep runs in larger fields without remarkable profit.

Here is the final hand from the $4.40 Bounty Builder (I added bounties manually). Had a decent stack at that moment but did not collect any bounty yet. At the table I did not think very long and remember that I only saw UTGs stack, UTGs bounty and my suited ace. Did not consider ITM or stats at all which I should have done. Now I am not sure, if I was correct to risk my tourney life there. I am pretty sure though this is a shove or fold spot only and I have a good amount of fold equity especially with my small bounty. Any thoughts?

I am so excited that I have to do an update right now. Not primalrily because of whats below but on how I got there. Started todays session late and was not really in the mood. On top I had to register late at tourneys, I normally register early because of higher buy in and bounties. My table cap of 4 was reached, I had to rebuy two times quickly and got two realy nasty coolers...

Another update for my latest numbers. The most exciting part was already reported in the last post. Not much in the screenshot folder this time. But here we go...

The picture looks much better than the hand actually was. At least I think so, now that I reviewed it. But nevertheless such setup does not happen that often, especially when luck is on heros side.

Not the big hit from a monetary point of view but gold is always good for self-confidence. The next time it will be one of tourneys on the opposite side of my buy in range.

As I read through another blog I felt like playing some Flip & Go.

But after that I think I will not play this format again. At least not with my "strategy". I just entered all 8 flip stage slots with the 5x buy in for a total of $2. I won the very first attempt and an entry to the go stage with 36k chips and another one for 46k chips (probably that is luckier as to expect). But the final outcome of about the 3.5x the total buy in for the 4th place is somewhat sobering. Still thinking about what a good strategy should look like. Feels like using the max buy in is always a good choice but should one stop entering flip stage after reaching go stage? Not sure if that format is profitable at all in reality but at least it is somewhat fun and exciting to play the flip stage.

It is been some time that I had to report losses but thats part of the game. Last week I had some issue with motivation because everything went against me and this week I did not find that much time to play poker and took some days off of the game. Now I am back with fresh energy and some vacation to be just around the corner. Hopefully I am able to increase number of games and hands back again.

I was lucky to turn the two cents of buy ins for the German Shootout Special into some step tickets.

I've won another silver but unfortunately was not able to collect more bounties as the winner took them nearly all.

And finally yesterday, after the days off, I started back into the action with a deep run.

again, its been some time and i have no clue about my numbers. i just try to recap what happend since my last post and update them afterwards. i have the feeling that my bankroll decreased.

so, as said last time i started into vacation before christmas but i could not gain the volume i intended to. but that is ok. i used the time for other important real life things, most notably: time with family and friends. what i can tell: i am definitly back into the hard grind and my streak is over. not many top results for such a long timespan. but the game is still a pleasure and i have fun playing it.

as there is some issue with pokerstars and strategy points since 2+ months now, i tend to play more on GG to at least maintain silver status, even if the type of games and overall experience is worse. but there is also one notably thing: on one of the very first days this year i noticed some C€ on my account and i wondered where that originates from. could not find any entry in the transaction history log or in pokercraft so i wrote an email to support. few minutes (!) later i got some response telling me that i have been randomly choosen for a $100 promotional bonus. thank you GG! this is given manually and therefore does not appear in any history. given that i have some question: since my account is in € the bonus is converted but it is changing every day. how does that work internally? is it converted as long as i have not started to clear it or until i have completly cleared it? i mean i havent used any C€ yet but the value shown in the lobby varies all the time.

lets get to the screenshots!

#1 another hit at the german shootout special. currently i have 5 unused tickest worth $200+

i have updated my numbers. still playing mainly on gg as there is still an issue with pokerstars and strategypoints. this is for about 3 month now and i have lost hope that it will ever work again. as humans get used to things, so do i playing on gg and sticking to silver status.

to be honest i do not know what to write. in the last period i had some deep runs but was not able to summit.

fortunately one of those happend on a larger field with a bigger prize pool and the bronze medal paid off with the biggest score so far in this challenge.

the ft started promising with me having about 3x the average stack of in total about 24bb with several short stacks. i was able to eat one of them in the second hand and another busted in the third one. i tried to apply preasure whenever possible and spent one bullet on this hand

i remember that i thought villains call is probably somewhat light considering the 2bb shorty and i have to consider he is possibly unaware or less expierenced to icm. after review i am uncertain. i am tighter in that spot and would have even folded 77, ATo, A9s and KJs. 99, AJo and KQs would have been a hard decision for me and mostly depends on my picture on villain.

some hands later my role of favourite turned into underdog and i lost a key hand

possibly thats why villain (the same that called KQo from above) made that horrible call here but got rewared.

crippled and being the next bb, the tourney was nearly over... but wait!

:profit: it took another 9(!!!) hands for them to kick me out.

after auto analyzing the tourney and reviewing the ft in detail, i am sure i have played it very well, was unlucky in some important spots but can look forward with stable confidence.

i was offered some deposit promotion that i seized giving me a chance on

as this is some classic freezout without rebuy and i do not have any edge, my plan is to register as late as possible on day 2 and find my luck in push or fold into the money :f_thumbsup:

i was curious about an easy way of figuring some kind of ROI directly out of PokerCraft. as i already rapidly scripted something in the past i spent some time today and i would like to document and share the result here.

var b = () => Array.from(document.querySelectorAll('table tbody tr:has(.mat-checkbox-checked) .cdk-column-TournamentBuyIn'), x => parseFloat(x.getElementsByTagName('app-buy-in')[0].textContent.replace('Freeroll', '0').replace('$', '').replace('Β₯', '').replace('€', '').trim())).reduce( (a, v) => a + v, 0)

this is the definition for some function to determine the sum of buy ins for tourneys currently ticked in the My Tournaments view.

var p = () => Array.from(document.querySelectorAll('table tbody tr:has(.mat-checkbox-checked) .cdk-column-TourneyPrize'), x => parseFloat(x.getElementsByTagName('app-prize')[0].textContent.replace('Entry', '0').replace('T$', '').replace('C$', '').replace('$', '').replace('Β₯', '').replace('€', '').trim() || 0)).reduce( (a, v) => a + v, 0)

this is the counterpart for prizes won. both functions already consider some other currencies but do not do any conversions/alignments. so there is plenty of space for improvement.

var r = () => ((p()-b())/b()*100).toFixed(2) + ' %'

this is the ROI function definition utilizing the other functions from above. by calling it, one gets the ROI as a percentage.

if i would have not played the speed racer nor the flip stage this would have been some great result for moday

:truestory:
