Moved down in stakes and +€0.23 in 1,5 hours. Super happy. The thing is, I put my career to full pro NL2+, but it started to look like too high risk, disconnected from others, scary, unknown.
I realize I don't have to do it, I can move down, work at gamedev, the important thing is good motivated working habits, which I have somehow achieved. Will target NL2 soon again but really happy about this successful risk reduction in my overall projects.
Set goals smaller and smaller irl, even came down to money goals, being more and more patient for months. Now, like the rain is falling from sky on a beautiful autumn evening, bam! +1,3k from government the retirement money. I think I ordered that, yes. Breathe free air, my friend :DDD
looks like i am facing some challenges in poker career, not money loss, but fear coming up etc. The seriousness/fun aspect is showing up: you wanna take it serious? - sure, here you go, says poker. All those 15 years I've been having fun, it turns out.

Again waking up 5am, dedicating about 2 hours to poker before others wake up 
Tomorrow is the end of school break, older kid is going to school again. We will move back to town again after two weeks in my parents' place in forest. Yea Christmas and New Year is fun but nothing really beats our own place in that town.

A good sportsman reinvents themself. Keeps everything fun and enjoys every aspect of training and practice! And yes, being serious, as in focused on a goal, is a part of it.

Puzzled here... a friend paid +€50 for making introductory videos together about computer programming for one hour, which is 100x my current hourly income in online poker (about +€0.50/hour). They want gaming of some type but it is not so easy to provide, as I am currently working with small children only. They aren't in poker world, poker has this secrecy and strength, online poker especially. I am almost out of time trying to figure the whole thing out and keep providing on both markets: people enjoy the fun aspect of 21+ gaming (real money online games) but also want the security of school education... No-one has crossed the line to fully 21+ gaming, they are rather going back to schools etc. I kind of have to "guess" that market which is fun, but a bit scary for some clients who want more "safe" experiences... argh
Abit scared money here, so quit the daily 30min session on minute 29. Results- and edgewise im winning, stuff is getting real though, it is influencing real life more etc. I think my comfortable stakes at the moment would be €1 to €1,5 but all casinos start from €2 so i better be able to do that ? YES so keep practicing
30min session at normal time, ~7am. Played really well I think. Gaining confidence. Really enjoying Adam Crawford's videos about lowstakes NLHE tournaments final tables (paid content on other site).
What I feel is helping is when you can have fun knowing you play better then the opponent.
bad beats and coolers are part of the game but nothing to be afraid of
up +€0.35 in 30 minutes playing NL2, was prepared mentally. good practice for me this stakes.
another 30minute on NL2, super interesting and complex this game. i try to give my best, but at minute 26 i start to feel sick and want to quit ♦
That was nice. After all, it wasn't too bad at the new house. I got used to the new way of life pretty well, I was inspired to work and enjoyed working here. I mostly played online poker, but was also fascinated about literature and writing computer games.
In good mood today, came 2nd in 45man $0.25 SnG for +$2.30 at 5am to 7:30am in morning. It is free entrance for me as I had T$17 left of free T$20 on Stars.
Girlfriend asked, why are you in such a good mood, she was surprised cause yesterday i had bad mood because of weekend. I keep silent about my micro poker though the last two months, officially more a gamedev businessman but actually playing NL2 at iPoker, i know it is quite easy to understand why i keep silent about that, doesnt bring immediate money etc.
Yeah I really don't have much content anymore, I feel like I have shared all I know about the game . Back to regular peaceful rhythm of life, trying to help girlfriend/children as much as I can, reduced overall size of my projects which makes them more realistic and enjoyable. For example, when I made the gamedev business, she bloated the education part really big, such as "real deals with government schools, business entering them and making gamedev workshops for kids", I understand, these people really love education, but the size of that scale just isn't possible. People liked it though, I actually entered government school and made 3 free 2-hour workshops somehow, but you can't just get deals with government schools that easily, they are also very pro-education, "cancelling the fun" offered even etc, so this casino guy can't just take the children to the world of computer games. Which they are aware of.
I marketed really hard the indie gamedev business on Facebook though in 2024, and I got one really fun client, other than that, I decided to leave Facebook completely, deleting that account even (suggestion of a coach on poker training site). There isn't really that many people there if you want good contacts, all type of low-lifes wanting attention and want to sell you bad cryptomarket deals etc. Life is more peaceful without Facebook and I am more happy.
Moved down today again, in the money both in €0.10 and €0.20 SnG on iPoker; had some $3 bankroll for some reason on GG, I think they allowed $2 deposit or something in past, so I tried to play $1 hyper tournament on GG, got crushed 77 vs JJ. Good and peaceful the lower stakes 
Back at NL2 today, lost half stack, got some good old motivation to grind it back. 4tabling... there are some sick people playing 100% vpip etc. Turned 22 into bluff on turn and river vs one nitty NL2 reg, that's where most of money came... there's like no way he gonna call with small pair there
