Yup its completed now.

Interesting hand where I kinda like my line. I would have folded river. Perhaps we should just cbet but my reasoning was that if we bet and get raised I am not so sure if we have even profitable stack off. But with check I can keep range wider and kind of increase my wrap value. Now non heart straightening river would have been optimal as villain would have probably blasted river. But I take this outcome as well

Well once again I have faced absurdly bad run. Close to 2k€ down in last two days. Well over half of those losses have come from maniacs or other recreationals doing some absurd play and getting rewarded.

One maniac today on plo100 3bets on BU Vs MP and I wake up from blinds with KKJTds type combo. Happily cold 4bet especially vs this guy. More worried of open raiser range to be honest. Well I get to HU versus maniac. Flop came lowish like some 65Jr type. I shove and opponent call showing 8763ts and hits two pair...

Then another recreational minraises CO, SB 3bets and I 4bet AA from BB. CO call and SB call. Flop came QJ3ss or so. I had only nfd blocker and nbdfd as support. But SPR at this point was only around 1.5 or so. So I thought I probably can't fold this and went with pot. CO shoves, SB fold. CO show JJ52ss type hand and I am screwed.

So these kind of hands are super frustrating to lose when you play way better combos like QJJTss and miss or hit some top pair and gs and constantly end into borderline spots.

Then of course board runouts suck etc. usual shinegans of these nasty sessions. Like one dude calling flop with some dry mid pair (with bdfd) and running backdoor wheel straight in spot where it's extremely unlikely to have it. Board was like J72A3. I had AJ7x type hand and went for X-c.

Phew... Well better luck next time.

Played short late night session today. Went earlier spots through from yesterday earlier. This session was absolute crushing on plo50 tables. Unfortunately most winnings lost on plo100 table. Final profit was bit below 100€ I think. Some of those hands:

Had some sessions with profit. Today back to getting crushed left and right by some absurd hands good amount of time.

MP open, BU 3bet, I 4bet from SB and they both call... Flop shove with SPR 0.7 obviously not liking this flop but yeah... Any kind of semi reasonable players and this would have gone, MP open, I 3bet SB, MP call. I cbet flop, MP call. I check turn and fold to bet. If it went to river I would probably check to try to get to showdown. But instead BU 3bets total trash, MP calls my 4bet making over 10bb mistake with single click. Kind of prime example of hands I have had recently especially in PLO100.

But yeah also boards were absurdly often today like T87 etc. when I 3bet high cards or pockets. Also in general it just felt like connecting with flop in strong fashion was so rare. Poker is mentally tough during these runs for sure.

These things always make me scratch my head...

Played one more short session for today. Some 1-2bin profit on plo50. Had though one close to 100bb pot with 75% equity preflop (super rare in Omaha) and another 200bb pot with 85% on turn. Lost both but at least tiny winy filling to the day results. Around 1k€ down though overall so not warming much.

Early session for today done. Once again I got constantly screwed by this one guy playing all sort of crap in plo25 table. Did nice on plo50 tables overall but around breakeven result wise. I guess I lost like 4bins in plo25 to not had made profit. Did actually record it and it had some interesting spots.

Same stuff continue on and on... I will post just one beat that was one of more absurd ones.

Apex maniac piles in with x-r on 4way flop with SPR 7.

Well as extra whine for those not yet totally bored by these. I had bit of good run at later part of my last session today. Breakeven line approaching fast for the day. Then things started to happen. In one table preflop allin with AAT9 Vs QJ98 type hand. 65% pre equity crushed on villain flopping straight.

At same time I shove turn with nut flush and get called by 2nd nut flush and two pair. Villain makes boat and 90% equity crushed. Then there was one more AAQ8 type hand I had squeezed and potted on 962r with at least one bdfd. Villain had called from SB with 9765ss type hand and called squeeze and my 30+% equity doesn't find suckout.

All these happened probably inside 10-15 seconds. I were like... Ok I guess it's time to end.

Yeah if the money lost matters too much, it is always option to move down to lower stakes. It is not like my life depends on the winnings on the highest stakes. You could maybe like move down to PLO25 as main game and sometimes take shots to PLO100 and PLO200 to get that money back, but even if that doesn't succeed, you would still have PLO25 as main game with very high winrate in the long run.

Huoh once again had few session with slight profit. Then today absolute maniac 3bets every hand in plo100 and... Well it can only mean I am getting crushed.

I think plo100 tables are literally softer than smaller ones I play but it's just this seemingly neverending shit run that just keeps on. Will probably record review session video and post it here.

Can be difficult I believe... maximum I have played is PLO2 but I have played FLHE 10/20 ($240 buy-in). When I was struggling with FLHE 2/4 ($48 buy-in), I actually hired a coach for two hours for $80/hour. That really helped me to move to better player with higher winrate. So if it gets really swingy/unpleasant, hiring a coach for review etc could be an option. All the best will be following!
