Unibet usually requires mixing limits. Of course depends how many tables you want to play. E.g. I checked now and plo4 had 16 seats and plo10 9 seats. So at least 5 tables in total. New tables in there work so that they start once three players have joined. That is probably because good amount of players don't necessarily feel comfortable to play HU.
As side note rake cap is halved on 2-3 handed. For 500€ br mixing bit of plo10 is not disaster brm wise.
Thanks. I’m playing the regular tables now and honestly, aside from the tables breaking up every now and then and the 10BB buy-in players, it’s actually fine. It’s not super nitty — maybe one nit at the table sometimes. I can play a bit looser myself, which feels good.
I do notice the poker trainer is way off from the PLO10 ranges (like you guys told me), so I just use it as a rough guideline. I checked my rake and the buffet points, and yeah, it’s like Kyyberi said. Comparing my paid rake (according to the tracker) with the points, I’m somewhere around a PVI of 0.5–0.6. Kinda sad, honestly.
Gonna grind it out this week and then decide whether to try Unibet or Bet365.
Yeah, rush and cash is a losing game. And that’s just playing two rush tables. I made the smart move today by sticking to the regular tables. Now it’s just waiting for Unibet to adjust the limits. Because of the KSA here, that takes about a week.
The only hand I’m not sure about was in a 4-bet pot. Normally you’re supposed to check OOP on a paired board, but I was already pretty committed when I looked at the SPR. Honestly, I didn’t really see the 5 as a scare card. I wanted to check it in the PLO trainer, but I just have the lite version so I can’t look up spots like that. Feels like just a cooler and move to the next hand,, but I do still wonder if the shove was good there.
With SPR1 just shove that flop. No reason to be fancy, and no reason to give free cards to anyone. In HU pots, SPR1 can be simplified so that you shove any flop with Aces. In the long run it's 100% profitable, opponent can't exploit you.
In that spot SPR was only 0.3 or so. We obviously shove happily. In 4bet pots with SPR 1 or so with paired boards my approach tend to be to use small 1/5th sizing when having AA with backup and shove weaker ones. Then have non AA stuff in both ranges mainly based on their equity.
PS: That hand was cooler on flop but villain preflop play was absolute money torching 
Thanks for your answers. I’ve noticed when I practice in the trainer that the EV differences are so close that there’s almost no clear right or wrong. So I prefer to keep it simple and just jam in spots like that. PLO is hard enough as it is 😆
But now that I haven’t played rush for a few days, I’m slowly seeing my results improve again. Could also be that I’m running better.
Yeah it's not big deal especially when you have AA. But if you have other stuff in 4bet range you will have some very low equity holdings that might want to bet small with high fold equity but not necessarily commit on flop.
I can’t wait for the deposit, balance, and time limits to change at Unibet. I think I’m kind of done with GGPoker. Right now my funds are locked, I can’t play, and I just have to wait for them to fix it.:f_confused:
So just a little update (whine post 😅). I’m kinda struggling to play. The PLO tables are hard to find, or they’re too tight or too passive. The games are really slow and people just keep flat calling, even when they have AAxx. That makes it really hard for me to open hands.
Then I thought about switching back to Rush, but the rake on Rush just eats up your bankroll. According to the HUD I’m down about $61, but somehow my roll is at €542 plus another €21 in cash dollars. I’m actually way up thanks to the flip tournaments, as you can see.
But after my last post about the technical issues — which took them a long time to fix — I’m now wondering if I should even switch to Unibet. Because of those promo tournaments, my rakeback here is insane. I can’t do anything on Unibet before Thursday anyway, so I’ll just wait and see for now.
Oh yeah, because of the table restrictions I started playing PLO5. Here are a few hands.

Cashed out part of my roll today. I checked and my deposit limit on Unibet will reset tomorrow evening, and my session limit on Thursday. These KSA rules are exhausting… 😅
And yeah, I know what I said this afternoon about maybe sticking with GG for the rakeback. But after playing some PLO 6c and getting half-tilted 🤣 — what a pure gamblefest that is — I’ve decided to make the move to Unibet after all. Even on PLO 5c you just get nitty tables.
Looking forward to those soft tables over at Unibet though…
I’ve put the PLO game on pause for now. As much as I enjoy it, I need to be honest with myself. I’ve played 40k hands now, and I think it’s fair to conclude that I can’t beat the game. I understand the variance involved, but if you can’t win at PLO5 (my largest sample size) and are down 50 buy-ins, then it’s safe to say either A: I’m not good enough at it, or B: I can’t beat the rake and variance. Honestly, the only thing keeping me around break-even is the promotions on GG and the small amount of rakeback.
So, what now? I’ve decided to switch over to NL cash games. There really aren’t many other viable options. Sure, there are tournaments, and as fun as they seem, they’re too time-consuming—I have more to do during the day. So from now on (starting yesterday), I’m switching to NL Rush.

I think your conclusions are potentially bit flawed. The thing with GG is that its extremely hard site to make profit from actual games. At least in rush cash games. Reasons are:
- TIght opponents on average afaik
- High rake
- Not so high actual rakeback. Depends if you can compete on leaderboards I guess
- Lot of small stacks
Because of high rake small stacks become big issue as you dont ever reach rake cap and get any portion of pot rake free. Plus it tends to limit the type of range you can play in first place. Anyway I think lot of these things dont necessarily change with holdem rush.
They actually made mass pool studies on PLO200 on plomastermind on profitability of players. Even top regs were barely making profit pre rb in GG if I remember right. So personally I would just see whole GG as kind of rake trap.
I get that the whole system on GGPoker is just eating up my money.
I really did give Unibet a shot, but it wasn’t the site for me. I just couldn’t get used to it. Sometimes when I play early in the morning, there’s simply no one online.
I’ve seen the rake comparison video from Mastermind too, and seeing how badly GGPoker performed.
What choice do I have? Keep playing PLO where I can’t beat the rake, or start focusing more on NL and see if I can at least stay ahead of the rake there.

Quick update:
This is how today went. I know my BRM is kinda aggressive.
Those were good plays by my opponents. I could also mention that I lost with KK vs AK, but that’s just standard.
Pokercraft still makes it look good, but according to the HUD I’m down $16.
We’re a bit down.It doesn’t matter if it’s PLO or NL 
But there’s still a long way to go.
